We have a golden-doodle-eskie dog and a shorthair cat. The cat goes out during the day and comes in at night. She doesn't know how to use the doggie door. The dog will use the doggie door when he needs to, but also should get a walk to burn off energy. He's a very social guy and craves attention.

Single story, 2,000-square-foot house in a quiet residential neighborhood located 5-10 minute drive from LAX airport. Completely renovated, everything is brand new. Fenced yard on corner lot, with a lovely sun deck, very pleasant place to sit. Neighbors walking dogs stop and say hello all the time.

We have two bikes. Two blocks away is Westchester Park, which has a public skateboard park, tennis courts, 9-hole public golf course and driving range, public swiming pool, several baseball diamonds, open grassy areas and a public library.

We're in a quiet residential neighborhood with little traffic, yet it's very close to LA's major international airport, as well as city freeways and major roads. The community is called Westchester. It's about 2 miles from the beach (Playa del Rey). We have two bikes. We are half a mile from Loyola Marymout University and Silicon Beach, headquarters of tech giants YouTube, Google, etc. There's a nice salt/freshwater wetland preserve with great views and dog walks. Close by popular destinations include Venice Beach, Marina del Rey, Santa Monica and Culver City. Also easy to reach are Beverly Hills, Westwood (UCLA) and South Bay beach cities.

I had a great experience at Diane's home! She is a very good communicator. Her dog is very well-behaved and affectionate. He was easy to take out and good with other dogs we encountered on trails. He also socializes with a neighbor's dog, and the neighbor was easy to coordinate with. The cat is a little shy but easy to care for. The whole process was straightforward with Diane. The location has easy access to everything I wanted to do in the city. A+ experience!
