Animaux à besoins spécifiques | 3 Chats

I have 3 indoor only kitties, Zöe (16y) and Leo (12y) and João (1y). Zöe has hyperthyroidism and age related kidney issues. She requires oral medications every 12 hours, liquids and tablets. She also has a supplement, mixed with food in the evenings and she receives sub-cutaneous (SQ)fluids daily
Leo is diabetic and requires insulin INJECTIONS every 12 hours. He also has oral medications (tablets) and supplements (chewable) for age related issues. He also has a chronic eye issue which requires ointment twice daily.
João receives a supplement daily (chewable).

I know this sounds like a time consuming process but it takes only about 15 minutes to organize and administer the medications.

Leo and Zöe are very good patients and accept the medications and treatments easily.

Leo is very timid, and easily startled by loud voices so a calm, quiet sitter is essential although once he is comfortable with you he will willingly interact with you.

Of course there is the usual feeding and water routine and litter box maintenance.

I also have house and patio plants that will need water.

Précisions sur les dates

I will be traveling the evening of 26 May and returning mid day 6 June. I would like the pet sitter(s) to arrive a day or 2 before my departure so that they can become acquainted with all that is needed for my kitties. If needed staying a day or two longer could be possible.

Comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the small Templar city of Tomar, Portugal. 1st floor, walk-up that has loads of natural light and 3 patios which receive morning/early afternoon sun. The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dining/living room combo, 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed and a bathroom with tub/shower.
TV and Fiber internet.

Non smokers only please.

My apartment is in the heart of the city of Tomar. There is a lovely park with a pretty river meandering through, a lovely formal garden which also includes walking trails and we can’t forget our wonderful Templar Castle and the Convento do Cristo; all within minutes of my apartment.
There are also many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

Tourisme et loisirs

Tomar is a small walkable city with many green spaces. There are many small villages in the surrounding area and many historic sites within a 50+ kilometer radius.
If you don’t have a car many outlying areas can be reached by train or regional buses. The bus and train stations are a 10-15 minute walk from my apartment.

Leo , Zöe and Jojo are gentle cats , affectionate , and very expressive once trust has been established . Once bonds have been formed , they love your attention, your presence , cuddles and playtime. They appreciate their independence too , of course – they are cats, after all! Jojo is the youngest: funny, curious, playful, and a real foodie! He knows exactly what he wants and what he doesn’t want: he loves playing and… eating! Leo needs a bit of time. But once a bond is formed, what a lovely cat he is! He’s very expressive too; he’s good at showing you exactly what he expects from you! His favourite activity? The massage brush! Zoe is the senior member of the household. She loves her peace but also your company. Her favourite activity ? long naps on your legs ! Linda’s welcome was very warm, and communication was always pleasant , helpfull and easy. Thank you, Linda, for trusting me to look after your cats. Thank you, Zöe, Leo and Jojo, for letting me be part of your lives. I’ve been delighted to know you and discover your charming town, Tomar.

Merci à Linda pour son accueil si chaleureux . Zoe et Léo sont des amours à soigner et des amours tout court. Joao est un petit diable qui met de la joie dans la maison .Tout est très bien organisé donc donner les médicaments s'avère facile. L appartement est agréable et idéalement situé .Quant à la ville de Tomar c'est une belle découverte ,on ne se lasse pas de sa beauté et sa douceur de vivre . Je garde un excellent souvenir de mon séjour!

Thank you very much Linda for the great welcome in your little studio, for your kindness and the small attentions towards us. The place was very comfortable, charming and very clean. We spend three weeks in Tomar and love its tranquility. The two cats Léo and Zoé are very cutes, giving them their medicine was very simple, they are really very calm. A great experience !
