We expect our house-sitter(s) to take care of our house and two cat sisters, Luna and Circe, who are just over 1 year old, while enjoying Ericeira’s beaches and lifestyle. :) Our cats are half siamese and like to do their talking, especially in the mornings. We both work from home and it’s always fine. They like to be talked back, but they do not meow incessantly unless something is wrong. We would like you to spend some time with them, give them treats as they ask and play/talk with them sometimes. As they have each other they are usually quite happy by themselves and lately they have been sleeping a lot. Besides love, attention and some talk there are no special needs. They are quite independent, easy-going cats. They enjoy being around people, but rarely sit on people's laps.
Luna likes when you talk back to her. Circe is more shy and takes longer to get used to you. They both like to play with ropes, a laser light or anything they find.

We have some plants that need to be watered, but maximum once per week. We are not the best gardeners in the world yet, so don't worry too much if some don't look super well. Just do your best to keep the cats happy and enjoy your new home!

3 bedroom apartment with big balcony, 7 minutes walking from the beach, Praia do Sul, 20 minutes walking from another beach, Foz do Lizandro, 20 minutes walking from supermarkets like Continente, Lidl, Aldi, Intermarché, and 15 minutes walking from Ericeira centre. :) There are also two restaurants 5 minutes walking. One of the rooms has no furniture and it is used as yoga/workout room. There are mats, blocks, straps, etc. that you can use for your practice. We have two foam surfboards 7’ and 7'6'' that you are very welcome to use. They are good for beginner surfers. Your room will have a double bed, a table, a chair, a lamp and it has a built-in wardrobe. The kitchen has a toaster, kettle, oven, stove, microwave, fridge and pretty much everything you will need to cook (including lots of spices). We have a dish washer and a washing machine and you can dry the clothes outside on the balcony. There are two chairs in the balcony if you fancy to read a book or be in the sun.The living room has one big table with chairs, one small, desk, one sofa, and speakers. We do not have a TV yet. We …

We moved in a month ago, so the feeling is not as homely yet, missing things like carpets, plants, one table in the kitchen, bedside tables, etc. The house has everything essential to live (we have been living here) and the location is great.
The apartment is inside a very safe condo and has parking spots outside.

Our apartment is part of a safe condominium, 7 minutes walking from the nearest beach. The town center is at 10 minutes walking where you have many fresh seafood restaurants, mini markets, fruit and veg markets, some vegan options, cafes, ice cream places, etc.
Supermarkets are at about 20-25 minutes walking: Lidl, Aldo, Continente, Intermarché, etc.

Tourisme et loisirs

Ericeira is a worldwide surf reserve, a traditional fishermen town with a very young community who live a very healthy lifestyle. You will find yoga studio, vegan options, bio shops, beach bars, surf schools, etc.
Besides that, you have Sintra and Lisbon near by. Perfect if you wanna explore a bit of that too. Lisbon is 40 minutes away by car.

Julieta stayed at our home for 2 weeks and took care of our 2 cats and (many!) plants. She was entirely respectful our place and left it spotless. She is very autonomous, all the while making sure to give us news. I recommend her warmly for future exchanges. Julieta a séjourné chez nous pendant une quinzaine de jours et a pris soin de nos deux chats et (nombreuses !) plantes. Elle a été absolument respectueuse de l'espace et a laissé l'appartement impeccable. Julieta est tout à fait autonome tout en prenant soin de donner des nouvelles. Je la recommande chaudement pour de futurs échanges.

This was my first pet/house sitting experience and it was more than I could ask for. Julieta is such a kind and thoughtful spirit and we connected immediately. She made sure I was comfortable in her home and checked in with me periodically to ensure I didn't need anything. Her two fur babies Luna and Circe are so special! While very independent and easy to care for, they also love cuddles and to take naps with you in the bed if you allow them to. They were very low maintenance and just a joy to be around. And don't forget to give them treats which they fully deserve!! If I ever become the proud owner of cats, I wish for them to be just like Luna and Circe. There were also some plants to water but not difficult to maintain. The home itself is very spacious and is equipped with everything you may need during your sit. The neighborhood is also quiet & secure and you can easily walk to the beach as well as supermarkets. I would absolutely sit for Julieta again and I also feel I made a lifelong friend!! Highly recommend ????

Julieta and Jack welcomed me into their house to take care of their 2 lovely furry princesses and I loved being there. Luna and Circe are super cute, very playful, and affectionate with Humans and with each other :) Luna loves to chat and made my lap her home :), Circe would give little kisses in my hand and would lean into us for cuddle time :) Both love to watch the birds outside! Ericeira is a place with a special vibe and has the most beautiful sunsets, the apartment is lovely and modern, in a great condo, and an easy walk to the center. I recommend this petsit to all cat lovers :) (if I'm not available!!) Thank you for having me Julieta & Jack and for the kind words :)
