Paris

Gala is my 11-year-old cat, originally from Chile, and a truly globetrotter—she’s lived in three countries and more than 10 homes! Despite her adventurous background, Gala is a calm and affectionate indoor cat who loves routine and a peaceful environment. She can be a bit timid around loud noises or unfamiliar people, but once she warms up to you, she’s a cuddly companion who loves being close.

Gala spends most of her day napping in cozy spots around the house, but she still has playful bursts of energy—she especially enjoys chasing ribbons and ropes (she’s not a fan of most cat toys). She’s in great health and doesn’t require any special care, but she thrives with daily human company. That’s why I’m looking for a sitter who can sleep at home and spend some quality time with her each day.

She has free access to food, soyou just need to fill her plate each morning as well as her water glasses (yes, she drinks water from glasses, not from bowls like a normal cat, ugh !)

The only problem with Gala is that when she's stressed she can sometimes pee outside her litter box, usually on the coach or on top of the bed. This usually happens when she feels lonely or unattended, or when there are new smells she doesn't recognize. To prevent this, I ask catsitters to clean her litterbox regularly and to keep to coach and the bed protected with a waterproof cover that I'll put on top of them.

I have a few plants that I'll water before I leave, but I might ask you to water some of them again in summer.

My apartment is located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, just next to Porte de Saint-Ouen metro station (line 13). The apartment has two rooms and is suitable for one person or a couple.
My neighbourhood is residential but active, with a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, and a few bakeries along the street. Montmartre is about a 20-minute walk away, and most major landmarks in Paris (like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Notre-Dame) can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by public transport.

There's so much to do in Paris that the list is endless, a high density of museums and art galleries, a wide offer of concert halls, incredible architecture and sinuous streets to get yourself lost in.
I'll be happy to recommend you places to visit if you are too lost with all the choices.
