We have a Maine Coon cat named Nina, although we call her Cookie. At 11 years old and weighing 8kg, she boasts a luxurious coat of fluffy hair. Nina reigns as the 'princess' of our home and is undeniably spoiled! She adores snoozing on the bed or couch and maintains a playful spirit just like a kitten. While she enjoys occasional ventures to the balcony, she prefers to stay indoors during cold weather. She is not allowed to go outside the house (streets)

Regrettably, Nina doesn't fare well with small children or babies; she becomes stressed and fearful. Additionally, she's wary of loud noises, plastic bags, and even aluminum foil. Nina requires some time to warm up to strangers but isn't aggressive—just apprehensive.

We're seeking a sitter to attend to her needs: feeding, providing fresh water, maintaining her litter box, and, most importantly, offering love and companionship. As she's growing older, she dislikes being left alone for extended periods. Ideally, a sitter who's homey or works from home would be perfect.

In addition to caring for Nina, we have a few plants that would benefit from occasional watering. If possible, we'd greatly appreciate checking the letterbox and removing the post. That's all we …

Logement

Recently constructed, this modern and comfortable apartment is located in Saint-Louis, close to the Swiss border (Basel) and Germany (Weil am Rhein, Lörrach). It features 2 bedrooms, 1 full kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 separate WC, a living room, and a balcony (67m2 in total).

Situated in a tranquil neighborhood, it is excellently connected by bus (which takes you to Basel, Switzerland in just 20 minutes), trains to Switzerland, Mulhouse, Colmar, or Strasbourg, and also has a tram line to Basel. The Euroairport (Basel-Mulhouse-Friburg airport) is only 10 minutes away. Nearby, there are plenty of enjoyable walks, museums, restaurants, and shops.

The apartment is fully equipped with amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, a 53'' TV, and a cozy sofa for movie nights. The bathroom includes a shower (no bathtub) and provides access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. Ample free parking is available on the street

Not much of a luxury, but we have 2 bikes lend to our sitter/s😉 and a cleaning robot that makes the daily tasks easier!

A very strategic point between city and countryside. You can find everything you need nearby. It's safe and calm!
There are nice places to visit for a day trip.

Alsace is a very rich and unique region with medieval towns and castles among the Wine Route. Some highlights are: Colmar, Kaisersberg, Ribeauvillè, the Castle of Haut-Koenisbourg, Strasbourg and Mulhouse with it's old town, modern shopping areas and very famous Train Museum (Cité du Train) and Schulmpf Collection (Cité de l'Automobile). In Alsace you will enjoy the mix between the French and German culture, easy to recognise by the architecture and their tasty and special dishes and wines (flammkuchen, choucroute, fois gras, Gewurztraminer wine and Pinot gris) And if all this wasn't good enough, our city is just 20 minutes away from Basel, Switzerland and on the other side if you cross the Rhine River you will be in Germany. We live in a three countries region in less than 10kms from our house.

We had an amazing time in Staint-Louise. Nina is a fluffy lovely, pretty talkative and affectionate easy-going cat. Nadia and Ramiro are super nice people, we had a dinner together the night before. Everything was perfectly organized and we had always a very smooth conversation. The apartment is cozy, quiet and perfectly located in the city center of Staint-Louise, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Staint-Louise itself lays in the “Dreilandereck” of France, Switzerland, and Germany, you can walk to Basel city center in less than an hour. All in all a wonderful stay, we definitely love to come back. Dandan & Benedikt

Nadia & Rami are wonderful people! So very kind and willing to provide you with all the information you need to get around the area, to live in their home, and, of course, take care of their baby Nina. They were so helpful the entire time we were there - even while they were on their trip. We are so happy to get to know these guys and have new lifelong friends! And we already miss spending time with their awesome cat, Nina! Seriously, these are the kind of people we love to meet in this world. Thank you for everything Nadia, Rami, & Nina!
