The reason of joining Nomador, is because we would like to go away a little bit more in the coming years.
Whilst we were away, Tiggy had been looked after by my kind neighbours who just feed him. We both feel Tiggy is a part of the family, and breaks our heart to see him looking longingly for our return. We know for certain he loves company. There is a catflap for him to go out at anytime, but when he comes in, he loves sitting on the settee with us. He does talk to us. He loves to be caressed. He sleeps wherever pleases him, sometimes with us.
Thus, we are looking for a kind housesitter who could share the same sentiments as
us. The housesitter must also love the countryside and enjoy nature at its best.

Dates are only tentatively. Happy to discuss with potential house sitters.

Our house was formerly our holiday home with just one bedroom. We like the area so much , we decided to make it our primary home. It now has 3 bedroom, a conservatory, a swimming pool and a manageable small garden/patio.

We are so lucky to live by the River Rance estuary and beach which is only 600m from our house. Sailing is my husband's passion. We love exploring the coast of Brittany with our boat. We are so fortunate to be able to do half a day sailing in the summer and then back to work. Bliss!
By the beach, our village is also famous for its resident seal called Josephine. She always poised for photos to be taken like a star! Recently in the local paper, it mentioned 2 other seals are around, and now she has competitors.
Our house is situated in a lovely triangle of 3 main touristic towns and ports - Dinan, Dinard and Saint Malo. All within 20 to 30 mins drive. Rennes, the capital of Brittany and a University town is only 40 mins away. The train (TGV & SNCF) and bus services are well served within the region

We have a grand piano. We also have 3 bikes to explore the village.

My name is Latiffah and my husband of 33 years is called Chris. We are British, and have lived in Brittany, France for the last 19 years. Originally I was from Singapore.
We live in this beautiful part of Brittany with our male cat called Tiggy, the Second.

Brittany is prosperous with tourism because of their spectacular coastls and coastal towns. The Bretons are also known for their cultural events. Great food like "Galettes" (savoury buckwheat pancakes) and "Crepes" (sweet pancakes), world famous oysters and mussels and cider are just a few to mention.
Places of interest - Mont -Saint -Michel (8th wonder of the world), Granite Coast, Oyster farms in Cancale, to name a few.

We run a small engineering software company. The nature of our work is all internet-based allows us to live in the country.
