🏡 House & Pet Sitting in the Heart of an Orange Grove – Odelouca, Algarve (Portugal)

🐾 Our Animals

The cat – independent but affectionate; loves naps in the sun and gentle company.
The dog – a beautiful Belgian Malinois, full of energy and very loyal. She loves long walks, playtime, and human interaction, but she needs someone confident and experienced with active breeds.
The three goats – friendly, curious, and easy to care for. They live in their own enclosure and enjoy a bit of attention and fresh greens.

👉 For those without experience with Malinois or high-energy dogs, there’s also an option to house-sit without the dog — caring only for the cat and goats while she stays elsewhere.

We’re looking for someone responsible, caring, and comfortable around animals and rural life.

💌 What We’re Looking For

One or two people who are:
Reliable, independent, and tidy.
Experienced with animals (or simply kind and attentive).
Comfortable in the countryside.
Having your own vehicle is recommended, as the house is a little remote.

Our home sits in the middle of a beautiful orange grove, surrounded by gentle hills and peaceful countryside.
It’s a calm, sunny place — perfect for anyone who loves nature, animals, and quiet living.
You’ll enjoy a spacious garden, a sunny terrace, and the fresh scent of orange blossoms all around.
The historic town of Silves (with cafés, castle, and market) is about 15 minutes away by car, and the beaches of the Algarve are 30–40 minutes away.

🛏️ What We Offer

Free accommodation in our cozy country home (one large bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, heating).
A peaceful and inspiring setting — ideal for writing, painting, hiking, or simply relaxing.
A warm welcome: we’ll show you around and introduce you to the animals before we leave.
