My mixed-breed black cat Matilda is 4 years old, very easy going, rather a loner, but friendly :) She is an indoor cat - only occasionally goes out on the little roof outside my window, without any access to surrounding flats.

The flat is in an ex- hotel mansion on the 4th floor. Matilda, my pet cat is 4 years old and a very friendly cat.

the view from the window is stunning. The beach is just outside.

It's a self-contained flat on the 4th floor of an ex-hotel mansion on the seafront in St Leonards on Sea. It has a large bright front room with an open plan kitchen (gas cooker, washing machine, toaster, fridge), a spacious bedroom, a spare room, and a bathroom.

Tourisme et loisirs

Hastings is a lovely, small historical town. It has been on tourist highlights lists for the last few years. It is situated in a small valley between two hills: the west one has an old (1066) castle with a beautiful green field and wonderful panorama, the east is the beginning of the countryside park with routes along the cliffs that can take you to Fairlight. The town had a small fishermen's village with fishermen actively fishing and coming back most days with their catch which they sell in small wooden hast in the port. Hastings has a contemporary art gallery, plenty of little art galleries and studios, a history and fishermen museum, Electric Cinema and Kinotheatre - both arthouse programming. Plenty of little cafes and restaurants. There is a lot of art and music events throughout the summer, famous pirate day and Bonfire Night, Mayday, and more. It is a short train ride to South Downs parks. It is a vibrant city but still very much laid back.

My stay at Monika ' s flat and Hastings was wonderful. Matilda the cat was so cute. Monika explained clearly the directions and what she expected from me. The communication between us was easy and she answered very quickly . Her flat is very comfy, just in front of the sea and we had a great time discovering Hastings magnificent city.I definitely recommend .
