Animaux à besoins spécifiques | 4 Chiens | 1 Chat

I have 4 well-behaved dogs. Neco is a Serra de Aires, a Portuguese cattle dog. His hobby is being at home looking after the property, but he also loves to go for long walks in the hills close by. On hot mornings we do a shorter walk around the neighborhood to avoid the hot tarmac.
Neco was 8 last November. He can be a bit shy to start with but is a big softy who loves people, especially men. He also likes to stay outside most of the time. During the hot nights, he can be a little unwilling to come indoors..

Snoopy is 7 this year, Abbe will be 6 they were like Neco rescue dogs. Wilda 2, is an Australian Shephard. They all get on well and are easy-going dogs who like Neco all love their walks.
Lastly little kitten Tinha 3 months siamese girl.

At night all dogs and kitten stay in doors and enjoy the human company. They don't need you to sit at home all day watching them, but the maximum time alone should not be more than 6 hours and not every day by themselves.

My house sitters have always been great and very tidy. I am sure you are too ;)

The garden is easy to look after. Water the pots if they look dry and put the covers on the outdoor sofas before a possible rain. There is irrigation but when its very hot the plants might need a little extra water.
The property is at the end of a short road, a cul-de-sac. There is a close neighbor to one side but the property feels very secluded with fields around the property.

There is a very small natural pool in the garden. It may need water added during the hotter months. The small fish are helping to keep the mosquito population to almost 0!
You are welcome to take a dip in the pool, take a shower before so suntan lotion doesn´t make the filtering pool plants struggle with their job ;)

Précisions sur les dates

I will leave at end of November or beginning of December. It would be great if we can have a few days together before I leave so you can have all the information about the house and the animals get to know you before I leave. The end dates are not set in stone and it may be longer if you enjoy your stay

You will enjoy the sunshine in Algarve this time of the year.
Sunshine is plenty and rain is extremely rare in the summer months.
You don't need a car but it would help you discover the beauty of Algarve.

Tourisme et loisirs

Algarve has some of the worlds most beautiful beaches and there are famous bird watching areas.
Apart from an interesting coastline and there is unspoiled countryside close by where you don't meet the tourists...
A car is not a must as its walking distance to the town where there is a bus terminal, but to enjoy Algarve to its full you should consider renting a car.
