I have an 8-year old Golden Retriever, Hassy, who is unbelievably sweet. She will play if you want to play, or cuddle, if that's what you prefer. She's my best buddy, so the care of her, is crucial in this arrangement. I like her to be walked 2 times a day, but she needs to be taken outside at least 3 times. She eats twice a day, and there is also a chance you may need to take her to the vet once or twice during the stay for an injection of allergy medicine (she has itchy skin). If you don't have a car, I will pay for a taxi to take her to the vet.

I have a few house plants and balcony plants that will also need to be watered a few times.

The end-date is slightly flexible. I need someone to watch my dog at least until the 10th, when a friend will then take her, but you can stay at the house for a few days after, if you like.

Beautiful, bright apartment with very large, sunny balcony. My apartment is in a very quiet, car-free complex, directly across the street from a large park. The tram into the heart of the city is only a 5 minute walk away. I'm located on the 1st floor.

Tourisme et loisirs

Cologne has a number of great museums, a massive Gothic cathedral (often rated as the number 1 tourist destination in Germany), a young and fun night life, good shopping districts, and is very close to many great towns, castles, wineries, etc, along the Rhine River. Or, you may just like to slow-down and enjoy a cold, refreshing Kölsch in one of the many great parks in the city (including the one across the street from my apartment!)
