I have an ancient male Boxer dog, Buster and an even more ancient cat, Noisette. Both need feeding and loving but happily hang out in the garden after Buster has a short walk round my neighbours orchard behind the house and a few games with his toys. Despite his age Buster still loves to play. As he gets older he has less time for other dogs so doesn,t need taking for walks while I'm away, particularly in the summer when there are tourists with dogs that he doesn't know. He is happy to stay home on his own for up to 4 hours if you want to explore the area. The pool is a salt water pool and needs very little attention. It has a security cover that will need to be kept on if you have children with you.

The house is easy with underfloor heating and a woodburning eco stove. Solar pannels on the roof feeding into the grid so better to use electricity as little as possible when the suns not out.

Small comfortable 2 bedroomed villa with small self contained studio appartment attached on the edge of a vinyard village with a fair sized garden and swimming pool. Amazing walks in the guarrigue from the back door and only a couple of minutes walk from the village centre. The village has a bakers and a couple of small restaraunts. Nearest supermarket is a five minute drive. Possible to get to Nimes, Uzes, and Bagnols sur Ceze by bus. A peaceful location on the edge of the village but not isolated. Only a couple of houses before the road finishes in a track leading into the garrigue and mediteranean oak forest, so perfect for anyone who loves to walk. I have neighbours who are friendly but discrete and will always help with any problems. The pool is shut down from November till the beginning of April. It isn't heated but gets very warm in the summer. A fascinating area for anyone interested in history. You can see the Pont du Gard from just up the track behind the house and you can find bits of the ancient Roman aqueduct by wandering in the fields not …

An excellent network of cycle routes and footpaths in the area. For nature lovers the nearby Gardon Gorge is a Unesco Heritage site and stunningly beautiful.

The Pont Du Gard Roman aqueduct is about 10 minues drive and is amazing when you think how long it's been there and that all the other bridges on the Gardon get washed away on a fairly regular basis. Nimes is a fascinating city with an ancient centre around the Roman Arena. Avignon also has an ancient historic centre with the Papal Palace and the "Pont d'Avignon. Trogldite burial site on the hill overlooking Beaucaire. The old walled town of Aigues Mortes. Very touristy but worth a visit. The beautiful old town of Arles is about an hours drive away but because it's connection to Van Gough they often have exhibitions at the Van Gough Museum there. One of the 'Plus Beau Villages de France 'Les Baux de Provence' (too tourist for my taste but amazing views from the top). You can also visit the 'Carrieres de Lumiere' which is close by.

Grand respect pour cette femme extrêmement amicale, joviale, interrelated, qui a beaucoup de bon goût pour tout. Buster et Noisette nous ont fait partager de grands moments de tendresse, jeux et complicités. Le lieu est superbe, et Jane aime partager ses connaissances de la région. Son accueil est formidable. On a plus envie de partir. Très belles rencontres. Ces sitting s'adressent à des personnes propres et délicates, soigneuses et respectueuses du bel intérieur de chez Jane. Nous revenons pour sur l'an prochain rendre visite.
