We have a sweet 12 years old mix-breed dog, named Cannella, who needs to be walked two to three times a day and having her food once per day. She is very calm and friendly, but she gets a little scared with other dogs and crowds and a little bit sad when we're not home. With the age she is becoming deaf and has arthritis, so now she walks very slowly and needs somebody with patience to take care of her. However, she still loves to walk and go out in the nature: she will just need more rest and time to do it. Her favorite activity is sleeping on the couch (she is allowed to the couch, not the bed) and she has a true interest in Botanics - she spends a lot of time sniffing all sort of plants in the park. If you want to become her best friend, a piece of bread is all you need: then she'll love you (not so) unconditionally.

Beautiful apartment, in the district of Saint-Mandé, 10 minutes walking from Paris, with a lovely terrace and a huge view on the Vincennes forest. This 60mt3 apartment has one bedroom, a living room and a separate kitchen fully equipped. It is located in front of the Bois de Vincennes, in a calm residential street and connected by bus (46, 201, 325, 86) or subway (line 1, Saint mandé, line 8 Porte dorée) to the city center.

We love having our breakfast at the veranda, or a tea on the terrace: From our apartment, you can spot the beautiful colors of Parisian sunsets, the ones that later you will find captured by impressionist painting in the Orsay Museum. But the live show is something else.

Our home is the perfect mix of city and countryside: just nearby Paris, with all its attraction, but in a charming village, with an entire forest to walk in. With both a long balcony and a nice terrace, you will have all the light you could need and a unique view.

Paris has everything to offer. My suggestion, however, is just to walk as long as you can and then stop to the nearest boulangerie to get a croissant (or a pain au chocolat, or a pain au raisin, or a financier, or ...). Repeat.

We had a most wonderful stay in Alessandra’s and Germain’s lovely flat that overlooks a large forest. You have the best of Paris just a stone’s throw away, but you’re able to relax in the evenings. Charming couple and always good to keep in contact and probably the sweetest doggo we’ve ever met. Such a loving, considerate girl! We can only recommend a stay here. You won’t regret it and we’d always be delighted to repeat it in a heartbeat.
