Besoin et animaux

This is probably a rather unusual assignment: I need someone (ideally a couple) to look after the property, do some repairs here in there (if you spot anything that needs doing) but most importantly, I need you to go to Ikea or any other furniture store, buy some furniture, take it back to the apartment, build the furniture and set it up. Dispose of the old furniture (most likely my friend will take care of it - I will give you clear instructions on what you need to do etc.). Take new photos of the place. In return, you can stay there rent free (fast internet also). I assume you can get everything done in a few days - the rest of the time is for you to enjoy (new furniture and all!).

All you would need is to rent a car for the time while you are there to run these errands for me. Cars during low-season in Portugal are extremly cheap (check out rentalcars.com)! As for transport of furniture from Ikea to the flat, I will organise this.

Would be great to have a couple stay around who knows a thing or two about taking semi-professional photographs.

Any travellers welcome to stop-over with anticipation, however. The only thing I ask you, is to keep the place as clean as you found it and wash linen etc. to make it ready for next guest! Look at the place as if it were your own...I'm based abroad but Sara my friend looks at the property while I'm travelling (I'm a Digital Nomad and traveller myself so always on the 'go'). Sara is a traveller also and loves to connect to like-minded people - she can show you around in her free time and give you recommendations.

Stunning top floor apartment with a huge terrace slap-bang in the middle of two beautiful beaches (only 10 - 15min walking distance) - Praia do Barranco das Belharucas & Praia de Olhos de Agua. Please keep in mind the apartment is situated on the top floor (3rd floor) and there is NO LIFT. Considering the assignment of having to carry heavy furniture (potentially) up to the 3rd floor might scare some people away...also might not be suitable for the elderly and walking impaired. PRAIA DA FALESIA is only a few minutes walk accessible via Praia do Barranco - in essence, you have the best beaches of the Algarve at your doorstep! If you research online you will see that these beaches are seen as amongst the most beautiful in the Algarve. If you have a rental car, you can explore the whole of the Algarve conveniently - Olhos de Agua is slap-bang in the middle of the Algarve so an excellent spot for excursions. I can send you loads of recommendations of things to do in the area :) Winter in the Algarve is lovely - you get to enjoy the real beauty for the surrounding nature without all these annoying tourists that flock to the Algarve during summer months ;) Also awesome huge shopping malls about 30min drive away with cinema!!

Tess has a beautiful apartment only 10 mins walk to 2 stunning beaches on the Algarve. We had a fantastic time exploring the whole area and we easily kept in direct contact with Tess online. Any questions we had were answered immediately and Tess had some really great recommendations for us. We enjoyed looking after the redecorating and photographing for the listing on Airbnb and we will definitely come back to rent it for a few nights. The little town of Olhos d'Agua is quiet enough to feel miles away from the bright lights of Albufeira but still has decent bars and restaurants for a good night out. Highly recommend people check it out for a possible holiday destination. We were delighted with the opportunity and to have met Tess.
