Bex

Teshua and Amerigo's farm is wonderful and really nicely set up. They are very friendly and positive people, and it's obvious that they have created their home with great care and love. All the animals are very sweet and have their own funny personalities. We had many touching moments with them: when the chinchillas first ate from our hands, whenever Guillaume the goat rested his head in our hands or on our shoulders, when the young cats asked for hugs or the one chicken looked for contact. We also enjoyed the young cats having their 'zoomies' at night ;-) . Before they left, Amerigo and Teshua showed us everything that needed to be done with the animals, such as feeding them and collecting eggs from the chickens. Following these instructions was easy, and caring for the animals wasn't that much work. We were in contact on a daily basis for small updates and they always stayed reachable in case we had questions. During our stay, we also had to deal with a couple of incidents involving a cat and two hens, and we really appreciated how calmly and supportively Teshua and Amerigo reacted, as well as the help of Amerigo's mother, who lives nearby. After these wonderful weeks at their home with their animals, it was not an easy goodbye, and it would truly make us happy to see everybody again.

We had a wonderful housesitting experience in Bex, Switzerland. The animal routine was overall very easy and enjoyable. There were 4 cats, 3 goats, 2 pigs, rabbits, and chickens — all very friendly and lovely to care for. During our stay, we had to take one of the cats, Choi, to the veterinarian, as he seemed to have been in a street fight. Fortunately, it was resolved with medication, and over the following days he recovered very well and was back to his normal self. The house has an absolutely spectacular view. Unfortunately, during our stay the jacuzzi was not available, but we can imagine that when it is, the experience must be amazing given the scenery. The location is very convenient: supermarkets are nearby, and even without a vehicle it was not an issue, as we could walk there in about 20 minutes. The welcome was incredibly warm — we were greeted with fondue and pumpkin soup, our favorites, which made us feel at home right away. We are very grateful for the opportunity to welcome the new year in the company of their animals and with such a breathtaking view. Thank you very much for everything. Until next time!

Excellent séjour ! Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Teshua et Amerigo, ils ont été disponibles tout au long du séjour quand nous avons eu besoin d'un conseil. Les consignes pour les animaux se sont déroulées "en live". La maison est agréable à vivre, située dans un lieu de randonnées plutôt exceptionnelles (face au Mont Blanc). Ce fut un plaisir de s'occuper de tous les animaux, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.
