We feed the cats wet food 3-4 times per day, scoop their litter once per day, and make sure they have fresh water and dry food at all times.

They are quite independent with new humans, but if you give them space they will probably start asking for cuddles within a few days. Diesel likes to play fetch!

They like to go outside during the day when the weather is nice (spring, summer, fall). We keep them inside at night and in the winter.

We have plane tickets to leave the morning of November 6th, so it would be ideal if you could arrive on the 5th, a couple of days before would work too. If you need to leave before December 4th that's ok- let us know and we'll work something out.

We’re looking for a cat-lover to take care of our 2 mellow kitties, Tesla and Diesel, while we’re away.

Brockville is an adorable small town, the gateway to the 1000 islands. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Our house is in a quiet and safe historic area, 3 blocks from the St Lawrence river. Everything in the downtown core is accessible within 5-15 minutes’ walk including parks, cafes, pubs, restaurants, a library, a supermarket and other shops. There are walking trails and several public parks along the river.

Perfect for 1-4 people who work remotely or just want some quiet time away from the city.

The house is a side-by-side duplex built in 1875, with a nice couple living next door in the other unit. Our place has plenty of old-world charm including original molding and refinished original flooring, but with modern updates like new windows, central AC and a smart thermostat.

The layout of our home is over 3 floors, but everything you need is on the first two. On the ground floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, one full bathroom. On the next floor are one full bathroom and three rooms: one master bedroom with a king-size bed, one guest room with a double bed and desk, one office. Our home is about 2000 square feet / 185 square meters, excluding the top floor. The top floor has 800 square feet of loft-like space including a TV room.

The town may be small but it's a hub for the surrounding rural area and has almost every service you could need within less than a 10-minute drive: supermarkets, pharmacies, a hospital (just a few blocks from home), a cinema, stores for just about anything you might need, restaurants and fast food, even some big box stores like Winners, Home Depot, Sport Chek, Walmart, Staples, etc.

We’re on a quiet street, just 3 blocks from the St Lawrence river and a 5-10 minute walk from many parks, pubs, restaurants, the public library, cafes and shops.

If you like to walk, there are many nice destinations either along the river or through historic neighbourhoods with lots of interesting homes.

Brockville is a small town of 22 000 people, the gateway to the 1000 islands. On foot, you can enjoy a nice walk along the St Lawrence river or explore the shops and cafes downtown.

By car, you can explore the 1000 islands parkway, or take a day-trip to Ottawa (1 hour), Kingston (1 hour) or Montreal (2 hours). In the summer, there are many boat cruises available to explore the 1000 islands, Boldt castle, and more.
