For 25 August - 9 October 2025: Ours is a small, 12 year-old mixed mystery breed female rescue. (Poodle x Chi-hua-hua?) (Jack Russell and Maltese?) She is beautifully behaved (mostly sleeps) and easy at home and in public. She may bark briefly when strangers pass by the front door or enter the home. Sadly, she will also bark frantically while you're out, so she cannot be left alone in the flat which will limit your activities somewhat. Accordingly, this stay is optimal for someone who already knows London and primarily needs a quiet place to work, or for a couple who can share dog responsibilities. There are some window-sill (mostly succulents) plants to be watered regularly.

Otherwise she's happy to walk, eat, play and sleep with you. She charms everyone she meets, and is very obedient in all ways except that she needs about 15 minutes of preparatory reminders and coaxing prior to leaving the house. Very happy and cooperative once out the door. Though quite sensitive to noises, this little one travels on trains, cars and buses easily. And will generally grab the best seat first on public …

Bright flat in a 1920's brick building. 15 minute walk to two Tube Stations, buses and grocery shopping. Wide variety of shopping and dining options are minutes away on foot. Half-hour/40 minutes walk to two large parks and multiple museums.

We enjoyed our stay at Claudia and David's very much. The neighborhood is great and the backyard is absolutely fabulous with expansive views. We especially enjoyed the grandmother avocado tree who is abundantly giving of her fruits, the fragrant garden and the sweet kitty Dolly who really opened up more and more every day of our stay. Claudia was communicative with us even as she was on vacation and quick to offer any solutions to issues that arose. The guest bedroom is comfortable and the stovetop great for cooking! Highly recommended!
