We have a very friendly 11-year old tuxedo cat named Mr Big who thinks he's a dog. He's mostly indoors but is allowed outside with supervision. Like most cats, he enjoys lounging and sleeping but is also an enthusiastic cuddler and loves attention. He likes to sleep in the bed at night, so it'll be important that our house-sitter is OK with sharing. He has an automatic feeder for dry kibble that dispenses at midnight and 12 noon, and he gets wet food for breakfast and dinner. He's fairly low-maintenance and enjoys the company of humans. We will have the mail stopped while we're away, so the primary responsibility will be for keeping Mr Big company and enjoying your time in the Bay Area.

Logement

Spacious condo 7 minutes from the Caltrain and VTA station for easy access to San Jose to the south and San Francisco to the north and all points in between. Walking distance to Mountain View's Castro Street with food and shopping and a quick drive to Shoreline Amphitheater and Park and the Googleplex.

We have lots of books ranging from the classics to science to human rights. We have basic television channels along with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. Wifi and washer/dryer will be available. There is a patio gas grill and outdoor dining area on warmer nights. The condo community has a pool and jacuzzi for use.

Mountain View is in the heart of Silicon Valley with downtown Castro Street a great spot for dining, people watching, and walking. We're close to the Caltrain and VTA lines providing easy access to San Francisco and San Jose. There's a supermarket (Safeway) within walking distance and additional shopping options within driving distance. Our apartment is light-filled and spacious, and we hope that you enjoy your time in it as much as we do.

Pema and Eddie are absolutely one of the nicest couples I have ever met. I could write pages about their love for their cat Mr. Big and how gracious they are with their sitters. The house is wonderful, cozy, welcoming, clean, tidy, and in a perfect location to all types of needs and wants a person might request. I absolutely adore Pema and Eddie as well as their love bug kitty Mr. Big. What a pleasurable stay this was and a lovely home! They are very kind and personable people who have become friends and I hope to see them again soon one day! They were so kind to pick me and drive me back to the airport as well as leave a variety of yummy organic foods for me. Living in Mountainview is central to so many places in California making San Francisco easily accessible by the CalTrain as well as so many other nooks in the area!! What a privilege it was to meet them and stay at their lovely home!!
