We have an elderly cat - 17 years old - who is super friendly and demands lots of attention and cuddling. He needs 3 medications a day and is used to take them. If possible, he would love to sleep with you. He is free to go outside when he wants (cat gate).
Recently, we adopted Lilou, a mysterious and elegant lady aged 13, she is very shy but enjoy human attention, at her own rhythm.
Unfortunately, due to Horus' heart condition, we cannot accept guests with dogs (or cats).
We have a couple of indoor plants which need watering every 3 days (automatic watering for the garden in the summer).

Logement

Newly built independent villa (150m2) outside of the village of Gimel on the edge of the forest/ regional park (best with a car). 1000m2 garden, splendid terrace with view on the lake and the Mont Blanc.

We have well garnished bookshelves with books is FR, ENGL, IT. The TV is 40 inches and connected to ampli.
One of the cellar-room is devoted to sports with yoga mat, TRX, Swiss ball.
The kitchen is super equipped, you will be able to make sparkling water and your own ice cream.
The aromatic garden will provide herbs to be used in the great dishes you will prepare

The house is located outside of the village, 30 min walk, at the edge of the forest. The environment is calm and relaxing in full Nature. The house is fully equipped, modern (built in 2020) and luminous.
In the village you will find: mini super market, bakery, tea-room, restaurant, pizzeria, pharmacy, press shop.

Our home is located in Parc National du Jura Vaudois, a great place to hike directly from home. For swimmers, Leman lake is 20 min away (by car), and Lake de Joux is 30 min away (by car).

Mon séjour chez Isabelle et Roberto bien que très court a été très agréable. La veille de leur départ nous avons passé une soirée sympa autour d'un bon repas qu'avait préparé Isabelle. La maison est très bien située, agréable à vivre au calme, avec vue sur le lac Léman et le Mont Blanc...et les randos sont multiples. Horus, leur chat est âgé mais encore très vaillant. Je l'adore. Je recommande ce séjour.

Despite some issues with our car, Isabelle and Roberto were very kind and welcoming. We were able to spend good moments together and have enriching conversations. Additionally, Horus is a calm, affectionate cat who is really easy to take care of, so honestly, it was a fantastic stay. I recommend 100%
