Three bed detached house with swimming pool (not heated) with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Just a 20 minute stroll to the beach, close to mini-marts. Need a car, loads of cool places to visit within an hours drive.

It's a quiet area with great views. Having a car is highly recommended.

Lots of nice walks nearby and great places to visit nearby if you have the car. We are located just an hour north of Lisbon.

This being our first international pet-sitting experience has set the bar very high! We couldn't have hoped for a more beautiful home and the access to the beaches ensured we were out walking and swimming every day. As for the homeowners, Sarah and Jon, we feel like we've made life-long friends. We were instantly made to feel welcome and at home in their house. We had a couple of lovely nights eating and drinking together and swapping travel stories. We always felt we could ask them anything we needed to know as we were in constant communication. It was so reassuring to know we could get in touch immediately and we enjoyed sending photos of their pets as the days went by, sharing jokes about their quirks and habits. As our last day approached we thought we were prepared to say goodbye but the look Angel (their dog) was giving us as we packed our bags and walked out the door made a huge lump in our throats! It's been 24 hours since we left and we really miss Angel and Biscuit (their cat). We hope to be needed again so we get to hang out with Sarah and Jon and cuddle their pets again!

Sarah and Jon are very responsible housesitters. They sent me daily messages and photos of my furbabies, keeping me updated on everything, and they took my dogs on lots of walks, even though the weather was terrible! Highly recommended!
