I have a sweet Australian Shepherd puppy, only 15 weeks old, potty trained with loads of energy. This means close watching when loose in the house, but she can be happy for 3 (perhaps up to 4) hours if you are out exploring the area.

This 3-bedroom individual chalet is part of a vacation village in the south-west of France, with large pools, tennis courts and many other recreational facilities from May to October. Daumazan is located an hour south of Toulouse in the Ariège department, within easy driving distance of several charming towns and villages, with great walking and biking opportunities. The house is located a few hundred metres from the Parc naturel des Pyrénées Ariégeoises. Things are rather data-driven in this house, using wifi internet services. There is a TV with chromecast, which can be used with your Netflix, Prime, Molotov or You-tube accounts from an Android, Apple or Windows device. And a bluetooth speaker to connect to your music channels. There are a few books around, but no library to speak of. There are plenty of guidebooks and maps for walks in the area. The house is situated in a pleasant vacation park, a pleasant 800m walk or drive from the village centre and its bakery, superette, butcher, tobacco/newstand, coiffeur, bar/pizzaria, wine bar and an excellent restaurant (seasonal). There is also an electrically assisted bike to explore a bit further, to get you up the hills!
