Hello!

I'm looking for a kind, reliable, and caring person to look after my beloved and very spoiled cat, Freepuoi, while I'm away for a short weekend.

Freepuoi is a 12-year-old ginger cat with three legs and a huge personality. He's sociable, incredibly talkative, and loves being around people. He'll happily keep you company throughout the day and will regularly ask — or rather demand — cuddles, especially behind the ears, which is his favorite spot. He loves attention and may even get a little jealous if you're spending too much time on your phone or in a video call instead of with him!

He's used to waking up early with me when I get ready for work, and he keeps the same routine on weekends. Expect an early morning request for breakfast, cuddles, and conversation.

One important thing to know is that Freepuoi takes a pill every three days. The medication must be given directly into his mouth, as he is far too clever to be fooled by hiding it in food. For this reason, I'm looking for someone who is comfortable giving oral medication to a cat. Apart from that, he is very easy to care for, and I'll be happy to explain his routine before I leave.

Even though he only weighs 3.7 kg, he eats like a champion! He's a bit like a baby: he expects meals every six hours and won't hesitate to remind you if he's hungry. If he doesn't get enough food before bedtime, he may wake you up during the night to let you know. He mostly enjoys pâté, but he's always curious about whatever you're eating too.

During hot weather, he likes to find cool places around the apartment, especially on the couch or on the bench in the corridor. As an older cat, he doesn't tolerate heat very well, so I sometimes leave a fan running for him during the hottest hours of the day when I'm out.

Besides taking care of Freepuoi, there are only a few small plants that need watering once or twice during the stay, so nothing too demanding.

Freepuoi is a sweet, affectionate little companion who quickly makes himself at home in your daily routine. If you're a patient, calm, and loving person who enjoys the company of a senior cat with lots of character, we would both be very grateful.

My departure dates are fixed, but I’m flexible with the cat sitter’s arrival and departure. If you need to come a day or two earlier or stay a bit longer after the dates I gave, or leave early , just let me know — I’m happy to accommodate.

My apartment is a cozy and functional space, recently renovated, located on the third floor (NO ELEVETOR) of a quiet building in a small central street. It includes a living room with an open-plan kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. The bathroom and living area have been recently redone and are in great condition, while I’m slowly updating the bedrooms — just a few finishing touches left, like painting the woodwork and doors.

The apartment is equipped with double-glazed windows and climate control (both heating and air conditioning), so it stays comfortable all year round.

You'll find everything you need right downstairs: fruit and vegetable shops, a bakery, butcher, supermarkets — all just steps away. The central train station is only a 5-minute walk, the tram stop is also 5 minutes away, and the sea is just 12 minutes on foot. The charming old town is within easy walking distance, along the lively Jean Médecin shopping street.

No car needed — everything is easily accessible on foot or by public transport!

My home is located in the heart of Nice, perfectly placed for exploring everything this beautiful city and the surrounding region have to offer.

Just a short walk away, you’ll find the famous Promenade des Anglais and the beach — perfect for a swim, a sunset stroll, or just soaking up the Mediterranean vibe. The Old Town (Vieux Nice) is also within walking distance: lose yourself in its charming alleys, colorful buildings, local markets, and vibrant cafés.

Nice is full of art, culture, and history — from the Matisse Museum and Chagall Museum, to hilltop views from Castle Hill (Colline du Château). You're also just steps away from Jean Médecin, the city’s main shopping street, with boutiques, bakeries, and restaurants.

For day trips, the train station nearby makes it easy to visit nearby gems like Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Eze, or even cross the border for a day in Italy. Hikers will love the coastal trails and nearby hills, while food lovers can enjoy the rich flavors of Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine.
