We are a French-Swedish family living in the South of Sweden. Our cats Celeste and Silver need to get some food and water every day - and some company! We grow vegetables: in a greenhouse and outside in the garden. It's not a lot or work but some, and above all, you need to be observant and to be comfortable taking care of it.
We'd need you to water the vegetables in the greenhouse, and outside when needed (and eat whatever is ready to be eaten - it might not be a lot yet at this period), and if possible to keep an eye on the weeds (to take out some if it becomes too much). We'd like you to mow the lawn (probably every second week). We'd also need you to water the plants inside about one time a week and check the mailbox every other day.

Farm situated at the edge of a village/small town in the South of Sweden. Big garden. Very quiet. Walking distance from the centre, shops, train station and lake. Woods behind the house.
Important: for environmental reasons we will prioritize house and pet sitters coming to us not by plane (train, bus, or car; if car: more than one person).

We have lots of books, CDs, DVDs, boardgames. Home cinema. A fire place.
And also, in the barn: a sauna, table tennis and table soccer.

The environment is very peaceful and quiet. Many trails and hikes in the neighbourhood. Perfect place if you like nature and tranquillity! And at the same time near all the amenities of a little town. There is a train station in Osby (about 15-20 minutes walk, or 5 min with bus) with direct trains from Copenhagen.

Tourisme et loisirs

Lots of beautiful hikes (forest, lakes, sea...), outdoor activities, but also some interesting museums and parks (Wanås art, Regionmuseet, Ikea museum, Moose safari...). Possibility to visit Malmö or Lund over the day. We can provide you with touristic information.

We had a great time in Osby. Fanny and David made us feel very welcome and the communication was good from the initial contact. The cats Celeste and Silver were so cute, they asked for cuddles frequently as of the first day. The house was very comfortable, the garden huge and the location very calm. Supermarket, train station and village centre are all easy to reach by foot. In fact, everything that Fanny included in her description was there. The garden and green house were easy to maintain despite the hot weather. The possibility of staying in the guesthouse upon arrival and before departure was very convenient.

We had a great time! The house is beautiful and located in a lovely, peaceful area with plenty of space and nature all around. At the same time, it’s centrally located with a good train connection to Malmö, Lund, and Copenhagen – perfect for day trips. The Baltic Sea was also easy to reach. The surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling, with wide open landscapes, forested areas and a great sense of calm. The contact with the Fanny and David was very pleasant – such relaxed and friendly people. Celeste and Silver, the cats, were absolute sweethearts – very easygoing and they loved to come sit with us in the evenings. The greenhouse and vegetable garden were a real treat: everything was growing abundantly and we really enjoyed the fresh produce. In short, a place where you can truly unwind and feel at home. Highly recommended!
