We have a Labraddodle girl Dana who is 10, she has a brilliant nature, very friendly, and just loves attention. She is not on any medication, and in good health, she does not need long walks, but does like a wander round the park where you will meet other residents often with their dogs. If you enjoy a walk Dana would happily join you, she is very good on the lead and off if safe to do so.

Lodge in a popular quiet Lodge Park sited on the river Devon with a salmon leap a stones throw from our decking. Steps down into the river with a kayak available for your use. Perfect for a peaceful relaxing holiday :-) The main feature of our home is the outlook over the river with lots of wildlife, Heron on the river daily, frequent visits from kingfishers and red squirrels a constant delight to watch. We also have plenty outdoor seating and eating areas (weather permitting). We have had our lodge for 10 years and we just love it, a very relaxing way of life with beautiful surroundings all year round. The lodge has an open plan living, dinning and kitchen area. 2 bedrooms (although 1 will not be available as it is my home office) the main bedroom also has an en-suite, family bathroom and utility room, this is the dogs room. It is very peaceful and relaxing with the soothing sounds of the river, and lots of lovely walks in the countryside that surrounds us. Dollar town is a 10min walk from the lodge where you will find the local shops, pharmacy, doctors, cafes, restaurants etc. There is also quite a few …

There is also quite a few towns with 10-15 mins on all sides of us and Stirling is about 20mins drive with lots of historical and shopping attractions. Glasgow & Edinburgh are both about a 40min drive away or you could get the train from Alloa which is 15mins away.

Tourisme et loisirs

There are a lot of walks close by as we live beside the Ochil Hills, and Castle Campbel can be seen from our lodge, a lovely walk up the hill. We often see fishermen in the river beside us so perfect if you like to fish.
Stirling is your next main town with plenty good restaurants and interesting places to visit like The Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. We are in central Scotland so perfect to visit lots of attractions nearby.

Super séjour en compagnie d’une merveilleuse chienne « dana ». Le Lodge est parfait, très calme, propre et fonctionnel. La rivière et les alentours sont sublimes. We had an amazing time staying at Karen and Alan's home. Their dogs, Isla and Dana, make great companions, and bonding with their parrot was an experience I won't soon forget. If you're into small-town life and everything that comes with it, then you should jump at the opportunity to stay at their home. Looking forward to doing it again, Dan & Monika

Had a wonderful stay with super lovely dogs at Karen's and Alan's lodge. The location is wonderful by the river and we fell in love with Uisge the parrot. We are really grateful for their welcoming and their trust with their house.
