Hi everyone,

We are looking for a person who will only take care of our cat, Kamikaze, 16 years old (the dog will stay in another house with another pet sitter)

Kami's health is generally good, but he needs some special (not complex) attention. In addition, the person who comes must bear in mind that she is a senior cat, so we would prefer that he/she have some experience with older cats.

The most specific care she needs is:

1) Take your daily medicine, very simple to administer since it's simply added to her food. She eats it without problem because we put it on wet food. This food and your medicine are given to her just in the morning.

2) She has to eat in small quantities throughout the day, and when she asks for it. We never leave much food in the bowl since she has a delicate stomach. During the rest of the day, she eats dry cat food.

This means that we are looking for a person who can be regularly at home. Of course, Kami can be alone for quite a few hours during the day, 7 or 8, but we prefer that the person sleeps every night at home.

Our place is a modern apartment with lots of natural light located in the metropolitan Barcelona area, just 13 minutes by public transport or 10 minutes by car from Barcelona city (and 10 minutes by bike for the most sustainable ones). It has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a spacious dining room with a sofa of almost 3m. :) We have the standard amenities and internet, television, toaster, etc. We have many books at home, perhaps more than 200, although most in Spanish. :) The neighborhood is quiet and secure and has all the services: shops, bars, banks, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, and several public means of transport very close: metro, train, taxi stop, and buses that go to Barcelona with a passing frequency of less than 5 min. The airport is 30 min by subway, and the stop is less than 400 m from the apartment (5 min walk). Besides, the environment of the apartment is an open area with green and wide spaces. Both in the subways and in buses that stop next to the house, they are ideal points to discover the beautiful city of Barcelona, as well as going to different beaches …

Well, for those who do not know Barcelona, it is a 100% Mediterranean city with a lot of sunny days and with a great cultural and natural offer. There are restaurants with almost every kitchen in the world, bars of all kinds, beautiful beaches, very interesting museums, and stunning natural spaces. The possibilities are almost endless: sea, mountains, concerts, museums, gastronomy, etc. Public transport is fast, safe, and very effective since it connects all parts of the city and its surroundings. The coast, with areas such as Sitges (nice coast town), the Collserola Park (full nature 20 min from the city center), Barceloneta (traditional fishing district) or El Gótic and El Born (medieval neighborhoods and historic center) or the Sagrada Familia they are some of its unmissable places.

Nous avons utilisé Nomador cet été pour la première fois, et avons accueilli Monica et sa famille chez nous pendant 3 semaines, ce qui nous a permis de partir en vacances en leur laissant nos deux chats, et nos plantes. Monica et Alba ont été très attentionnées avec nos chats, et nous ont informés régulièrement de la manière dont ils s'habituaient aux nouvelles occupantes de la maison, ce qui nous a fait passer des vacances très sereines. Les chats ont reçu toute l'attention nécessaire, et beaucoup de câlins pour la plus jeune, qui s'est très bien adaptée! Monica et Alba ont pris soin de nos plantes et de notre maison, que nous avons retrouvée parfaitement propre et rangée. C'était parfait pour nous. Monica et Alba sont des personnes très sympathiques. C'est une belle rencontre que nous avons faite avec elles, et une belle première expérience, qui nous donne envie de réitérer.

Une excellente experience avec Monica et son adorable petite famille. Les chattes ont été câlinées, nous avons eu des nouvelles très régulièrement avec des photos. Elles ont très bien assuré dans la gestion d un grand jardin et d une piscine, chose pour laquelle elles etaient novices. La maison était impeccable à notre retour, les chattes en pleine forme !Une super expérience avec des home-sitters très attachantes que nous espérons bien revoir chez nous Pascale

Mónica and Alba are a wonderful couple, they greeted me with open arms, provided all the necessary instructions and information, and made me feel extremely comfortable in their house (they even left a night before to leave me their queen bed, and made sure there was sotmething in the fridge to kill the midnight munchies ;)). Kami - the cat - is abosolutely adorable, she's super cuddly and easy-going. We slept hugging each other (and her murmuring lullabies to me), she also kept me company during the working day (normally pushing her way onto the chair, behind my back :)). Even though being an mayor lady, she poses no problems when it comes to administering her medication, and is in good physical shape. She loves affection, and eagerly gives it back :) The flat is modern, bright, and pleasant to work or relax in. The neighbourhood is well communicated and safe. Thanks Mónica, Alba & Kami!
