I have 2 cats, Vader & Mixey. They are brother & sister. Vader is very social likes to be around people all the time. Mixey is the typical cat-when she wants pets, she'll let you know. They are 10 years old. Both like to be out in the garden some during the day, but stay in at night.

Vader like to eat at 5, both morning and night. they also have dry kibbles down 24/7. They do have a kitty litter box in the laundry room.

Logement

I have a great little single-story home that sits on top of a mountain at 9,700 feet. There are large picture windows with stunning lake and volcano views. It is in a secluded area, great for hiking. Its quiet and peaceful, you can sit in the garden and enjoy the flowers and hummingbirds. Yet the neighbors are nearby so you aren't alone. A taxi is a must for going to town.

Both the kitchen and bathroom have recently been remodeled. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The bathroom has both a bathtub and shower. Hot water is throughout the house. I have TV, internet, Netflix, DVDs and other streaming programs if you enjoy watching TV.

I have a large flower garden and potted plants on both the front porch and in the house. A housekeeper comes weekly.

My home is located in Yambiro, Otavalo, Ecuador, overlooking Lago San Pablo, in a private community with 6 other homes, 4 other full time residents. 20 minutes down the hill is Otavalo, the home to Ecuador's largest outdoor market. Otavalo is a great place to walk around town. Enjoy exploring shops, restaurants, history and beautiful Architecture.

For nearby day trips there are many waterfalls such as Peguche and Taxopamba, Otavalo Condor Park, Tren Tayta Imbabura, Lauguna Cuicocha And Lago San Pablo, Criadero de Alpaca as a few examples.

Kim & Ken are amazing hosts. From the first skype call we felt like we had been friends forever. We had great communication right up until our arrival where Kim and Ken met us at the airport. We were so pleased to have a few social days with them as this gave us a chance to get to know each other, have a few meals together, meet with the locals and we got introduced to the expat community whom we could call upon for anything if needed. We had a fantastic two months at Crucita, made so many friends and we will always have very fond memories. Now the kids.... Vader & Mixto are the most beautiful ,adorable cats with wonderful character's..We especially miss their hugs. I want to thank Kim & Ken for entrusting us with their fur kids & home. We miss them all dearly and if ever back in Ecuador will be sure to stay with our new friends. For now we are social media friends and love getting gato photo updates. Best wishes Rosie & Simon.
