Loches

Une très belle rencontre et un séjour que nous n’oublierons pas ! Nous avons eu le plaisir de garder les 2 chiens et 3 chats de Caroline et Patrick à Loches, et tout s’est merveilleusement bien passé dès le premier contact. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de chaleur et de gentillesse par ce couple vraiment très sympathique. Caroline et Patrick avaient à cœur de nous transmettre toutes les habitudes de leurs animaux et nous avons même passé la veille et le jour de leur départ avec eux, ce qui nous a permis de faire connaissance tranquillement et de prendre nos marques. Les animaux nous ont rapidement « adoptés » 😊 et nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à nous en occuper. Il faut dire qu’ils sont tous très attachants. La maison est également très agréable et nous nous y sommes sentis tout de suite comme chez nous. C’est une belle région à découvrir car très riche en patrimoine et en histoire. Au-delà d’un excellent séjour, nous avons surtout fait une très belle rencontre humaine. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les moments partagés avec Caroline et Patrick et nous aurons beaucoup de plaisir à les revoir. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir garder leurs animaux et retrouver cette jolie famille. Une expérience Nomador comme on les aime : confiance, convivialité et belle rencontre ! ❤️

Caroline and Patrick are a warm, friendly and very hospitable couple, who welcomed us and immediately made us feel right at home. Once we arrived, the day before Caroline and Patrick went away, we were introduced to the furbabies, the two dogs, Mojita and Raihana and the cats, Gaia, Zoe and Yumpy. We were only looking after the cats as the two dogs were going with their mum and dad. Then we were treated to champagne and nibbles on the terrace, overlooking their beautiful gardens and pool area, followed by a delicious home cooked dinner , fresh salad, quiche and blueberry tart accompanied by a fine red wine, in their conservatory. Looking after the 3 cats (whom we nicknamed “The Three Muskateers”) was very easy and such a delight in getting to know their individual personalities. All three (Yumpy the shy one, took a couple of days to get used to us) loved to be near us and getting cuddles and attention. Gaia, the matriarch , is the most vocal, especially around mealtime, always has something to talk to us about and loved to follow us around (supervise) when the gardens were being watered. Zoe , also had plenty to talk to us about and liked to be near us. Yumpy, Zoe’s brother, only occasionally had something to tell us, but was also enjoying getting cuddles but spent most of his time upstairs sleeping. It was hard to say goodbye (all three got extra big hugs and cuddles) when we left but we thoroughly enjoyed this sit, gorgeous furbabies and a beautifully appointed home set in a lovely garden , in a quiet, countryside location just outside Loches. Loches is an historic and lovely part of France, our hosts had provided plenty of information about things to do and see in the area. We did some sightseeing but were quite happy to relax and enjoy the company of the cats and the serenity of their home. We highly recommend this sit and look forward to another opportunity of looking after Caroline and Patrick’s gorgeous furbabies and lovely home.
