The cat need food in the morning and evening and some time for caressing and playing - but nothing more :-) We have a big garden 500m away from our home which need in summer only one thing: Collecting Vegetables :) and some time some water...:-)

No further special need, Mascha is alone so need a person caressing her a lot!

100 year old small house in which we have a maisonette apartment with 2 balconies. Calm as it's a house in the back of the street but at the same time 2 km from city center and 200 m from a big green parc (of more than 5 km length) with small creek (even for swimming with small kids)...our cats are house cats which are not allowed to go out...and therefore they love to have people around them for playing and caressing... We do for more than 12 years homeexchange now (49 exchanges), so we are used to be in other houses and take care about what is needed and have the same in our home. We love the concept of giving and recieving, win-win, without money but with lots of dedication. We have lots of books and games, a stepper for sports and many possibilities to go to bars and restaurants...as well as in concerts etc. Karlsruhe and especially our quartier is easy living with bicycle and public transport, very green with parc around and 10 min by foot from the main station. You can reach even small villages in the black forest around with public transport and Heidelberg castle, Stuttgart …

Ganz wunderbare Erfahrung Erfahrung mit Gesa und ihrer Familie in ihrem liebevoll und für Reisende unglaublich hilfreich eingerichtetem Zuhause! Ich habe mich sofort zuhause gefühlt - dank traumhafter Umgebung, lieben Nachbarn, einem eigens für Sitter angelegtem "Handbuch" zu der Wohnung, der (absolut liebsten) Katze Mascha und wirklich Allem, was alle möglichen Fragen beantwortet und mit Tipps für Ausflüge, Good-to-Knows für ausländische Reisende zu z.B. Mülltrennung und Pfand in Deutschland und einem Abschnitt für ein Gästebuch - da wurde an wirklich Alles und weit mehr gedacht, und wenn es doch Fragen gab, war die Kommunikation mit Gesa tadellos schnell, klar und unglaublich sympathisch! Mehr als empfehlenswert - Tausend Dank für die schöne Zeit! :)

Le séjour chez Gesa et sa famille s'est super bien passé. On a pu rencontrer Gesa avant le pet sitting, elle fait tout pour que l'on se sente bien. Beaucoup d'activités sur place, et encore plus lorsque l'on prend le vélo / les transports en commun. Gesa nous laisse d'ailleurs beaucoup de lectures pour inspirer un séjour à Karlsruhe. La semaine s'est faite avec Masha, un plaisir de s'occuper d'elle, elle adore qu'on la caresse, elle est très attendrissante. Gesa répond rapidement à toute question, mais le classeur avec tout d'indiqué pour s'occuper correctement de la maison, du jardin et de Masha est top Merci pour tout, Flora et Lucas

I had a great time. The chats are friendly and no trouble, the house is cosy and Karlsruhe is surprising : a city with lots to do and see, but also very green. Just loved it !
