I have two medium size dogs - brother and sister - a mix of border collie/lab/griffon.
Very friendly but excitable, and when walked need to be kept on leads. They can run free in the enclosed garden however and generally spend most of the day outdoors.
They sleep inside in a cage in the kitchen.

I have some plants indoors and out which will need watering.

Lovely location for walking and cycling.

Weekly market 10 minutes drive away in a medieval city with several restaurants and supermarkets, small shops and pharmacies

Tourisme et loisirs

The nearest town is medieval Mirepoix where there's always something happening - brocantes, vide greniers, fetes, weekly market. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars and a spectacular cathedral.
This is Cathar country so there are lots of fabulous chateaux to visit, not least of all La cite, Carcassonne.
Close by is Lac Montbel where it is possible to swim, canoe, sail, walk and cycle.
The mountains are 40 minutes away and can be seen from the garden...

Nous avons eu un excellent accueil avec Irène et son mari.Leurs 2 chiens étaient adorables, nous nous sommes attaché à ces boules de poils qui ne donnent que de l'affection. Nous avons communiqué tous les jours avec WhatsApp, photos,vidéos afin de rassurer les propriétaires. Nous leur souhaitons beaucoup de bonheur.

Mon séjour chez Irène s'est très bien passé. Elle a été très accueillante. Elle partait le lendemain. Je me suis occupée de ses deux adorables chien Minnie et Monty. La maison est très agréable et au calme. J'y reviendrai avec plaisir.
