Besoin et animaux

I am looking for people to look after my 2 cats while I'm away. Both cats are 5.5 years old females, indoors cats, well behaved and cuddly. They need feeding 1-2 times a day and to be given access to water and dry food throughout the day. One of them is deaf and has balance issues, but it doesn't really affect her behaviour (other than weird meowing at times). The sitters must make sure that the cats do not go outside. If you want to spend a night or two away from the apartment during your stay, I should be able to arrange for someone to come and take care of the cats. Would be nice if you could also water the plants :)

I am flexible with dates and generally looking to be away from the NYE - if you can come after Christmas, it's also fine. Generally anything between 15 Dec and late Jan works for me if you can come for at least 1 week.

Logement

Apartment in a house, ground floor in a charming small town in Lofoten, close to the mountain and seaside, with northern lights in winter and midnight sun in the summer months. Very central, literally 1 min walk to the bus stop and supermarket, free street parking available.

The apartment consists of living room with fuly equipped kitchen area, bathroom with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer, and 2 bedrooms, one is normally used as a storage room but can be tidied up for house sitters if needed.

If you'd like to visit beautiful Lofoten and hang out with 2 friendly cats, please get in touch. I am generally flexible with my schedule, so even if the dates that suit you aren't listed here, feel free to contact me. It is often that the only thing stopping me from planning time away are my cats, so I may be able to work around your schedule :)

Tourisme et loisirs

Lofoten is known for its dramatic landscapes, beautiful views, great hikes and stunning coastline. It is best to rent a car for trips further away as public transport can be a little sketchy, but there's also a lot to do in the area - nice hikes, lakes, seaside, aquarium, some museums, a local pub, some more bars and restaurants in a larger town 6km away. It's a great location for nature lovers, with northern lights in winter and midnight sun in the summer.
