We have four indoor house cats. They all like people, but one does not get along with two others, so there is a bit of management and care required to avoid conflicts. They are all healthy and happy, although one has asthma and requires daily treatments with an inhaler. We also have one "free range" elderly rabbit, and one tiny aquarium. We would expect house-sitters to feed and water our pets, cleaning up after them when necessary. The bunny simply needs to be fed, and his living area cleaned every few days. The fish requires feeding twice a day. Our plants and garden will need watering as needed, but there are no gardening tasks beyond that.

Ours is a three-story townhouse with a small garden. We completely renovated the interior and moved there in July of 2018. The kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of appliances. There are three bathrooms and one master bedroom. The house has high ceilings with lots of windows. Air conditioning is only in the bedroom (but we have lots of fans!). Our townhouse is situated in a busy, working-class neighborhood, near a busy street. Our house is close enough to the street for convenient access to transportation, but far enough away to be generally quiet. It is near many urban conveniences, including a terminal station for the "sky train," a large Thai fresh market, a mini-grocery store (70 meters away), and a shopping mall. Our neighborhood is very urban and very Thai. We like it, perhaps you will too. Our kitchen is very well equipped, for those who love to cook. Also, our back patio is a mini gym, with an elliptical machine, a power rack, bench, and free weights (Olympic barbell, dumbbells). We’ve got a lot of books, and I have guitars available. The inside of our townhouse is a refuge from the activity outside. Our place would be suitable for people seeking an authentic, daily-life Bangkok experience, with the opportunity to live in a well designed and quite convenient living space. Staying at our place is for people who enjoy bustling city living, with a bit of an adventurous edge. The main street is about 25 meters away, and is extremely busy, especially with motorbike traffic. The street can be pretty hectic, so please consider this before choosing this house sit.

Tourisme et loisirs

Due to our proximity to the sky train (metro), pretty much all of Bangkok is easily accessible. Additionally, nearby are some cool local attractions, like the Ancient City and the Erawon Museum. Of course, Bangkok is a very vibrant city loaded with food, shopping, and all sorts of cultural experiences.

Sean & Tham's fur & fin babies are awesome - and so are they! We've been house sitting full-time for over 6 years and Sean's notes about the house, the pets and the local area (including google map pins) are the best house sitter notes we've been given. Lovely people, adorable pets and a good location for an authentic Thai experience but still close enough to the city to have the taste of tourism if you want it.

Sean and Tham were great. They provided us with comprehensive information regarding their home, their pets and the neighborhood. Although my wife and I are experienced house sitters, this was our first time using Nomador. The home of Sean and Tham was a great first experience! Before arriving, we received a detailed E-mail listing what would be needed for the care of their home and pets. For the three charming and quite curious cats named CiCi, Greta, and Comet, there were daily feedings and the need to administer asthma medication for Greta. (super easy) For the two lovable rabbits Houdini and Albert there is the need to feed twice daily and sweep up their feeding area. Then there are the fish that need feeding twice a day. As for the rest of the home, a leave it as you found it policy works just fine here considering the home is very clean and well maintained. It's a beautiful house! There is a small garden and lawn that needs watering daily that can be handled with ease. The neighborhood in which this three story home sits is filled with wonderful smiling neighbors and one very lovable dog. Everything you could possible need is located around the corner or within one to two kilometers at most. Mall, shops, restaurants, transportation, and endless street food. The E-mail you receive before had will have many more helpful tips and p.o.I. to help you enjoy your time. ) We would go back in a heart beat. Fantastic house sit! Thanks so much Sean and Tham!
