My cats are very independent. They sleep during the day and plays outside our small garden. They like to visit our neighbors and roofs connecting our house. Our house is a maison de ville or townhouse and located in center. We have a boulangerie, pharmacie, supermarket and the main market just 2mins walk. My cats go outside the night but comes home to eat. I give them 1pack of wetfood in the morning and another at night. They are not easy to touch but nice and needs a little human presence.
If you are looking for a calm and nice place to stay, you will like our town.

Our 3storey apartment is located in the centre-ville of Royan. It’s just 2mins walk to the beach and the port. It’s very accessible and easy to go to other towns like Pontaillac, Saint Palais sur mer and La Palmyre. It’s quiet and no traffic on the month of November to March in our town. Very relaxing area

We have canal+ and Netflix in the salons tv. We have an electric piano. We have a jacuzzi but needs to be cleaned before using. We have bicycles too at your disposition.

Royan is a very peaceful area. We are very near the beach and many nice walk and bicycle ways. Nice sunset in front of the beach which is 2 mins walk from my house. Everything is near and accessible. We have bicycles that you can use to visit the town and neighboring area.

You can choose to many small beaches of Royan, Chay, Pontaillac and Saint Palais sur Mer. The Grande Côte beach is accessible by bicycle too. We have surfboards and stand up paddle. La Zoo de la Palmyre is nice. We have many nice forest to hike near the beach. We have 2 golfs in the area.

Gilda and her family are very charming, naturally kind and and hospitable hosts. Everything was explained and showed in the simple and efficient way, so it was nothing unclear for me during my stay in their house. Very good equipped kitchen, with the best knives I have even seen, so easy to prepare some meals. Specially as a big market is just a step from the house. Exceptionally comfortable furniture, so good to rest after the walks along the coast or on the beach with the best companions - T’choupi and Yuki. And the both could win easy the first place of most discreet and easy cats to take care of. Two very different characters, but still the similarity in being friendly, kind, playful, sunny cat souls. Even if they are not siblings, they are incredible good with each other. Thanks to Gilda and her family they have a cat dream life - freedom to go in and out as they wish and the abundance of love, which they get constantly. T’choupi and Yuki are never ever loud and annoying talkative. They greet with their gentle voices and sometimes ask for snack. They even know where the snacks are stored and will lead to the right drawer in the kitchen, very useful ☺️. But they are never demanding or greedy and very contain with the small portion. And what was amazing for such still young cats that they are not mischievous, only playful and never scratch or bite even unintentionally by playing. They are very clean eater, so it is never messy around their bowls, even by eating wet food. Only knowing how good T’choupi and Yuki has in the family, makes it bearable to say good buy to these beautiful cat souls.
