Nombreuses plantes | Grand jardin | Entretien piscine | 2 Chats | 1 Animal de la ferme

We have two cats and 4 chickens that will need feeding and the chickens will need to be let out every afternoon and supervised while they free range then put away later. Pot plants will need to be watered on a daily basis. There are no expected responsibilities as far as the main house is concerned, other than to report any problem or damage to the property in our absence.

Chateau with attached fully fitted old cottage Le Pigeonaire, in Sainte-Colombe. House-sitters will occupy the cottage. The cottage has a TV with a Freesat Box. A selection of books and DVDs are available for your use.. We have a couple of bikes you are welcome to use. Please let us know and we will ensure they are serviced. We have a pleasant outside terrace area for alfresco dining on warm evenings. BBQ and garden furniture are all available. There are lovely walks from the main house. We live in a rural fairly isolated area. Although we have good neighbours nearby. You will need your own transport. The nearest towns are Hagetmau and Saint Sever, each about 8 Km distance, where all amenities, commerces, restaurants, supermarkets, leisure facilities are available. We have a gardener that comes in two days each week. The gardener cares for the vegetable garden, and lawns etc.. We have a problem with our pool liner and need replacing so we have decided to close it down for the winter. Pots plants will need watering. …

There is plenty to discover in this region. Historic towns and villages are nearby. Modern shopping facilities with Malls etc are to be found at Mont de Marsan. The Atlantic Coast is about an hour drive as are the majestic Pyrenean mountains. The Basque Spanish coast is about 1.5 hours drive. The famous thermal spas at Dax are 45 minutes away. Vineyards can be visited. The area is surrounded by lush rolling green countryside. The Basque and Gasgogne cuisines are renowned.
