We are looking for someone to take care of our cat for 9 days. Jiji is a very affectionate cat but is suffering a bit at the moment as he lost his brother to cancer two months ago and is still adjusting, so he needs lots of affection and daily play to work off his anxiety. We manage his anxiety with medication twice a day, morning and evening. It's really easy to administer as you simply drop it into his treat and he'll happily eat it. He has kidney disease but it's early stages, which means he vomits occasionally (an easy clean as we have parquet floors) but is absolutely fine after. He may be shy of you initially, but once he warms to a cat sitter, you'll have difficulty getting him off your knee! You will need to change the litter once as he is very particular about a clean toilet!
Our apartment is great for anyone who wants to explore Madrid, as we're right by two transport links that get you to the city centre in under half an hour.

One bedroom flat with large kitchen and lounge. Close to Almendrales and Doce de Octubre stations with great connections to the city centre.

If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is great.

Usually quiet at night. Friendly multi-cultural neighbourhood right by Madrid's China town. Some great restaurants close by with very reasonable prices.

Tourisme et loisirs

You can access pretty much anywhere in central Madrid in 30 mins by public transport (20 mins to Lavapies). Take the Cercanias from Doce de Octubre two stops to Atocha and you're right by Retiro Park and the Botanical Gardens. Matadero arts center is a 15 min walk away.
