Our cat (Celtic) can be in the garden during the day. I put water out for the feral cats too, and sometimes food though that is not obligatory. Celtic needs to come in at night, and likes a clean litter box (at least once a day). He has dry food and water at all times, and needs wet food once in the morning, and treats at night. He loves affection but may taker a little time getting to know you first. The he may want to sleep with you, though he is quiet and still during the night. He is fairly easy, but requires love, and touch, which he gives in return. This hungry male likes his food and asks for it all the time if you are in the kitchen.

We live in a cave home, with a stone room apartment. It truly is lovely. Close to walking trails, friendly neighbors, amazing Cappadocia scenery. You will be warm, have beautiful hot showers, and privacy. Our cat Celtic is a real love, may sleep with you though only for an hour or two. He is both indoor and outdoor, and needs to be called in for the evening each night.

Very quiet environment, agriculture community, hiking, biking opportunity just out the front door, very friendly local people, with many international travelers coming through. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. It's a lovely life and the house takes little maintenance at all. Trash service provided, nice neighbors. I am a writer and my husband is managing our construction part-time. We are early morning risers and enjoy many evenings on our terraces overlooking stunning views!

Tourisme et loisirs

Nothing like the ancient cave ruins to explore...and the food is delicious. Cappadocia is listed on EVERY list of desirable places to visit on the planet. The underground city (Derinkuyu) is worth the visit alone...and a hot air balloon ride at sunrise.

We had a really great time in Ortahisar with Celtic. We love the village as well, it gives you a local feel without being too far from all the main attractions of Cappadocia. The house was very comfortable and the experience of the cave house is wonderful. Micah was very responsive, helpful and a little angel. You can walk to the grocery stores, there is also a little shuttle service to get to other towns, and you can get lost in all the valleys around. If you like to hike, that’s a great location. Celtic was independent but sweet and easy to take care of. We would definitely come back if the opportunity presents. Thank you x1000!
