The cat does whatever he likes and needs are almost completely covered since we have an automatic cat feeder and water supplier that only once every few weeks needs to be refilled. The litter box does need a renewal once in the two days.

We also have a turtle and some fish that need some food daily in the morning and the plants need water every week.

We have Roosje (our dog), but for the period away in december she is coming with us. In other times who needs to walk twice a day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Logement

Cozy family house in centre of Turnhout. Three stores, 5 minutes walk to town centre, famous Belgium beer cafe around the corner. Also house of a cuddly dog and cat.

As music lovers we have a piano and guitar available. We also are big plant lovers which gives the house a nice touch and have quite some books available if you like reading. If you like to watch TV we can share our Netflix with you :)

Turnhout is a town which has a lot to offer. It's close to the border of the Netherlands so you can travel easily to Breda, Eindhoven or Tilburg by public transport. If you like nature, just outside the town there is very nice scenery for hikes (peas area). The town has plenty of shops and if you like to try Belgium beer: there are many bars offering the nicest beer.

The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood where neighbours like to say hi to eachother and it's a five minutes walk to the town's centre.

The house is fully equipped and no maintenance needed.

Tourisme et loisirs

You can make some very nice city trips if you like that. For example going by train to Anvers or Brussels, the capital city of Belgium. Or crossing the border to the Netherlands, to Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda, Den Bosch or even Amsterdam!

Esperanza and Yannick are wonderful! We took care of their "babies" for about a month. They welcomed us with much affection and were always in touch to answer any questions we had about the animals or the house. They provided clear and detailed instructions on how to care for the pets, how and when to take them for walks, etc. They were also very kind and gave us information about the area, cities to visit, etc. I can only say that it has been a fantastic experience, and we would definitely do it again. Thank you guys for your kindness! You are fantastic!
