Besoin et animaux

2 Chats

We have 2 cats that are sisters, Nixie and Nutella.
They need to be let out at some point in the day, and come in at night.
They need 10 minutes of play each per day and a bit of caresses or brushing.
Unfortunately, they haven't 100% yet learned to do their business outside, so there are 2 litter boxes that need to be checked everyday.

Please feed / water them everyday, obviously.

We have plants but they should be fine, if they look desperate please give them a drink.

The neighbour has a male cat that looks very much like Nixie: white, with cute paws. Do not let him into the house and shoo him away if possible. He's too friendly and makes himself at home very quickly. Also, he likes to pick on Nutella!

They don't have food or shelter outside so preferably they won't spend all day outside. They come when called, or coaxed with treats.

We live in a cute and beautiful house 5 minutes from the sea and coastal trails in a seaside village. (photo is post-move 2 months ago, so it's actually a lot more organised and cosy now, but you get the idea). It's a quiet neighbourhood with a local bar, creperie, cinema and bakery. There is a salt water swimming pool and supermarket not far. We can lend you a car as well (preferably you know how to drive gear shift) to explore the beautiful surroundings ( think lighthouses, old abby ruins, nice little harbours and french villages). We have lots of hiking trail guides, a couple surf and boogie boards, and a fireplace to get warm after a session in the sea (if you dare) ! OH and a super deep bathtub for a luxurious soak! Life here is laid back and outdoorsy. You can light a fire if you like, go to the bakery and enjoy local French pastries. Go for a walk along the coast. Shops are open everyday except on Sunday, (there is a market either in the village or in the big town nearby called Brest). Shops are open everyday except on Sunday, (there is a market either in the village or in the big town nearby called Brest). There are lots of cute places to explore, villages, countryside, harbours and coastal paths. It's France, so restaurants are only open between 12- 2:00 pm. There is transport in the village, but its worth checking the times because it's not super regular, maybe half a dozen times a day. We have a car for easy access to nearby amenities or villages.
The closest vet is in Plouzané, a 10 minute drive.

Tourisme et loisirs

There are so many beautiful places to discover in the region, not to mention food and natural sites. The nearby towns of Rennes, (2 hours) is culturally attractive, an old city with lots of character and museums. Quimper, crepe capital and breton music hub is only 45 minutes away with beautiful cobbled streets and quaint architecture. The north and south coast of Brittany has stunning landscapes, beaches and promenades (morgat, crozon, cancale). For an extended day trip, the old fortified city of St Malo is 2.5 hours away just after which you have the Mont St Michel, a stunning Unesco world heritage site. If you go on a day trip, just leave the cats inside ;)
