One-bedroom apartment in Foggy Bottom (downtown Washington), walking distance to the Kennedy Center and the Lincoln Memorial, two blocks away from the metro and close to several bus lines to go to Georgetown.

The building has a staffed front desk 24/7, and a rooftop. There is no parking included with our unit.

The neighborhood houses George Washington University and the GWU Hospital. The building has college and graduate students, and their is rooftop access, convenient for smokers (no smoking in the apartment is allowed). There is a paid washer and dryer on each floor. There is a weekly farmer's market on Wednesday a block away and one on Sunday about a mile away. There is a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods walking distance, as well as a 7-11, and several restaurants and eateries, including Western Market, a new food court. The Kennedy Center is close by and has free daily concerts (Millenium Stage) in addition to their other shows.

Tourisme et loisirs

Washington has a plethora of tourist attractions, including museums and monuments. The Smithsonian Institution (si.edu) is known for their many museums and zoo in the area. There are other art galleries, including the National Gallery of Art (nga.gov). The Kennedy Center is walking distance, and there is a a movie theater in Georgetown and another in Chinatown, which are accessible by public transit.

Petsitting for Dolly and Marcel was an excellent experience! Dolly is the sweetest cat and welcomed me immediately! The flat is in a great location with easy access to all the wonderful attractions DC has to offer, and is very well kept and furnished. 10/10 recommend this sit and would happily sit again :) P.s Sorry for the delayed review!
