I have an elderly cat (19 years) and in good health. Feed twice/thrice a day, sleeps most of the day and does his own thing, just needs the company and affection. Can be a bit demanding when awake :) Balcony plants and vegetable garden needs daily water and mail needs checking. We would ask for no meat, fish, or garlic to be cooked on the property and no smoking.

Our dates are fixed. We do have a gardener that can come in and feed our cat, so it is not a must to be here a full month but it would be nice. It would be nice to have the sitter come a day before, however, we can leave instructions if this is not possible.

Restored old home, within walking distance to Cafes, Resturants, Moorish Castle, Pena Palace and the historical Center of Sintra. A magical place to live with cobblestone roads, ancient trees and moss. It is a large property, the main house is on the road, however, further back is the main vegetable garden and many hidden quiet spots to sit and find some calm after a day of sightseeing.
There is a separate apartment downstairs which would be used by the house sitters - it has a kitchen, 1 bedroom, bathroom and living room with an outdoor patio area.

Tourisme et loisirs

There is a lot to discover and enjoyable trips to make in the region: The beaches are 15 minutes away and Sintra is well known for its beautiful Palaces, gardens and castles all within walking distance. There is so much to explore and enjoy. The airport and Lisbon are 30 minutes away, a shopping centre is 12 minutes away.

House sitting for Stacey’s and Jonathan’s cat Puzzles and looking after their marvellous home and property was such a pleasure and a privilege. They gave me an extremely well organized welcome and went to great lengths to make sure I would be comfortable during my stay and provided clear instructions on all relevant subjects. Furthermore they were always available and very responsive when I texted them news or questions. Puzzles was very sweet and affectionate company and easy to care for. Stacey and Jonathan are blessed to live in their sanctuary from the storms of life, with a fabulous garden in a beautiful residential area of lovely Sintra. We have had the most wonderful time at Stacey and Jonathan's house. They are very friendly, attentive generous and welcoming people. Their house is very clean and beautifully decorated. Their garden is a paradise. We enjoyed cooking there on the big cooking range. The house is quiet and peaceful and Sintra is magic with marvellous surroundings. We had more than we were expecting. Yoga with Lior was really a blessing, In fact all the stay was a blessing. Thank you. We are back with lots of energy and great memories.
