I have a mixed race dog, “Balkán”, about 40kg big and a cat, “Nena”.

Balkan requires going out and also enjoys playing in the house. He is 4 years old, and not very agile, as he was born with a slight impairment. He can walk but has difficulty in running. He likes to be petted and is gentle in general. He is prudent with respect to other dogs, and likes to play with them if they don’t run too much.

The cat is 14 years old and she's very cozy and likes to receive attention. She is vocal about it and will complain if she feels left behind.

Logement

Two stage apartment with an ample terrace. Third stage WITH NO elevator. There are two bathrooms, it has aircon and gas heating wifi, etc. It is very well connected to the city center by metro. Puerta del Sol, for example, is about 30 mins away.

There is a double bed upstairs and the sofa also can be configured as a bed.

There is a nearby park (about 15 mins. away) where I usually walk with Balkan. I think it offers a nice environment because people are usually nice there.

There is air conditioning in the two levels of the house. Good optic fiber connection.

Tourisme et loisirs

My appartment is well located on Madrid and allows easy access to the city's attractions.

It is hard to say what you can't do in Madrid. Just by walking south, you will cross very interesting neighborhoods with a lot of interesting things to do and see. If you like museums, then better prepare yourself because it might be exhausting.

If you like going out (like me) then I believe you will discover a ton of places to go. One of the nice things about Madrid is that it is a very open city and it is easy to meet people, especially downtown.

There is also the possibility of taking the metro with the dog and going to one of the most beautiful parks in Europe, the Retiro.

You can also rent a bicycle and ride a 50km loop that surrounds Madrid, you might be surprised to see how many people enjoy riding.

Many thanks to Manuel for his hospitality. I had a great time in Madrid. The apartment is well located, close to the metro. As for furry friends, Balkan is good-natured and a little stubborn, but we quickly understood each other. Nena is a charming kitty who occasionally reminds us of herself and is always happy to be petted. I am very happy to stay with Manuel, thanks again!
