We have two senior dogs. One is a miniature schnauzer, 14 years old. The other is an 10-year-old a mixed breed, who looks like a Portuguese Podengo. They are quiet most of the day, and enjoy long naps. We usually walk them 2 - 3 times a day (together) for potty visits and would like the house-sitter to do the same. They are mostly quiet and very attached to humans, but one of them does not get along well with other dogs (that is why we are trying this option for when we travel). We ask the sitter to give the dogs food twice a day - early in the morning (7 am) and around 7 - 8 pm. The schnauzer requires daily medication. Is it super easy, just get the right amount and mix it with the food in the morning. They are very attached to humans, especially the mixed breed. So, we ask you not to leave them alone for too long (more than 8 hours a day, for example). If you go on a day trip once in a while, that's ok. We just expect you not to do it every day. 3 bedroom apartment in a very nice area of Lisbon. A quiet neighbourhood full of trees, gardens and places to relax nearby. But also really easy access to the main attractions: we are 500m from the metro. Our house is on the top floor of the building, with a nice view. There is an elevator. We have 3 bedrooms, one of them reserved for the sitter, with a double bed and a working desk. We might also find space in the wardrobe for your clothes if you wish. We have a nice living room with a dining table, a relaxing hammock, some plants and a special place for watching TV, with cable, Amazon Prime Video and Disney Plus. We also have high-speed wi-fi. House rules: - We can accommodate 1 or 2 people. - No smoking in the house.

We live in a very relaxing neighbourhood in the north of Lisbon. It is full of families, trees, gardens and cafes. Not a very touristic area, but really easy to get to most attractions, since we are a quick walking distance (5min) to the metro - the green line that goes all the way to the Tagus river. We are also very close to the Alvalade neighbourhood, which is a very nice place to go shopping, eating and having drinks. The airport is 8 min by uber from here.

Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, is a vibrant and historic destination with a rich cultural heritage. It offers a blend of old-world charm, stunning architecture, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern attractions. We recommend taking the 28 tram to St. George's Castle, going to Alfama, Baixa and Rossio. If you like the beach, you can to Cascais using the metro and train - a lovely day trip. Sintra is also really close - you can get there in 50 minutes by train. Closer to home, we recommend visiting the Museu Palacio Pimenta, a lovely museum about the history of Lisbon, with a very nice garden on the back.

Notre séjour chez Elisa a été agréable. Elle nous a renseigné sur ce que nous pouvions faire à Lisbonne. Les 2 chiennes Gato et Baleia ont été très agréables à s'occuper et très attachantes. L'appartement cosy était très propre. Un plus, le quartier est situé au nord, donc très calme et arboré loin du tumulte de la ville et surtout situé proche d'une station de métro ce qui est très pratique pour accéder rapidement au centre. Des commerces de proximité ont été apprécié.
