We are a happily married couple in the best age of 57, non-smokers, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Our two children are grown up and live their own lives. We like nature as well as city life, exploring new places, discovering different cultures.
Ben has been working very successful over the years as a Manager in Sales. I'm a self-employed graphic designer with my own advertising agency. We both decided to reduce our business tasks to let new exciting experiences come in.
We are independent and flexible in our times, love travelling and are experienced in many foreign cultures and nations.
As we are great animal lovers we have plenty of practical knowledge with dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish and much more. Ben and I grew up with pets and had several dogs. Over the time we gave different cats a new home – always animals from the animal protection organization.
In the last few years we regularly sit the 9-years-old Labrador "Carlo" (a Labrador/mix rescue from Spain) as well as the 12-years-old cat "Linus" when their owners travel for business or pleasure.

Ben is a master of barbecue and a famous handyman. We have a small garden which we designed ourselves with romantic flowers and scrubs. We love to care for it and plan every year some new gimmicks.
As we are homeowners ourselves, we know very well what is important to do in house and garden.
And we own a car which we bring with wherever needed.

Karin and Ben are two warm and open-minded people. They are more than reliable and have taken touching care of our chickens and our cat Nils. They both simply have a knack for animals! They are very attentive and even fixed the door of our chicken enclosure! Thanks again from us. Every day, they have sent photos and fresh updates from home. The house was in wonderful condition when we came back and the animals were all just happy. They didn't even miss us at all we think ;) Karin and Ben are highly recommended and we look forward to meeting again with a cold beer on our patio. Mira & Lena
