Hrefna S.

We recently had the pleasure of housesitting for Hrefna & Ernir in their wonderful apartment in Amsterdam, taking care of their three lovely cats: Lina, Bjalla, and Teitur. We had a very nice experience and couldn't be happier with our time spent at their home. Hrefna & Ernir were exceptional hosts, providing excellent communication, a warm welcome, and a comfortable environment for our stay. On the first night, they invited us to join them for dinner, which was incredibly kind and a great opportunity to get to know them better. We appreciated their hospitality and the chance to share a meal together. Throughout our housesitting assignment, Hrefna & Ernir maintained excellent communication. They provided us with clear instructions regarding the care routines, feeding schedules, and any specific needs of their three adorable cats. Taking care of their furry family members was an absolute pleasure. Each feline has their own unique personality, and it was a joy to spend time with them. We followed Hrefna & Ernir's instructions diligently, ensuring that the cats were well-fed, had clean litter boxes, and received plenty of love and attention (+medication for one of them). The apartment itself was very comfortable. It was bright, spacious, with an amazing WFH set-up, cozy living area and a well equipped kitchen. It is situated in a nice green area of Amsterdam with easy access to the city centre by bike or metro. Hrefna & Ernir provided us with recommendations for local areas to explore and restaurant options. In conclusion, if you're looking for a delightful housesitting experience in Amsterdam, Hrefna & Ernir should be at the top of your list!

We spent nearly a month caring for three cats (Lina, Bjalla, and Teitur). The cats were lovely and non problematic. One of them required special attention but this way she became even more memorable :) Hrefna and Ernir welcomed us warmly and we had no issues with communication. The apartment is well equipped and we enjoyed having dedicated workplaces. Commuting to the city center was easy with public transport. The neighborhood is very calm and pleasant. Overall, we had a great time in Amsterdam.

We loved to care for Teitur Bjalla and Lina, there are so sweet and playful. The apartment is super big and comfy, in a great location. Hrefna and her husband were great host, we had lunch together and exchange tips for our stays and travels. We had a great time, and would love to come back any time.
