We are are Veronika (39) and Ladislav (41), a couple of genuine animal lovers and experiences pet sitters.
We have house sitted for 3 years in a row around the world and completed 17 house sitting assignments, all with 5* reviews from the owners. We started house sitting as a couple and now we house sit with our son (born in 2021). Our son is used to being around animals from birth - our extended family lives in the same city and among them they have/had both dogs (labrador cross Sunny and a rottweiler Bessy) and a cat named Spock, so our son understands that we need to be kind & gentle towards all animals.
We are responsible, non-smokers and definitely not party people. In our free time, we enjoy being outside, keeping ourselves fit by walking, running, hiking and cycling, and practising yoga. When we are tired from sports, we like to relax by reading a good book.
We think that animals, as well as humans, need to feel that they are loved - and that is something we can promise we can deliver. We also understand that each animal is different and has their own unique personality so we always adjust the care based on what is needed - the only thing that stays the same is the attention, love and cuddles :)
As we both like being active, we welcome all energetic dogs that can show us around and give us yet another reason for that long walk, hike or run. On the other hand, we also have experience with caring for shy rescue dogs or elderly dogs and cats who need administer medication.
Lad works from home (in IT) and Veronika is a stay-at-home mum/works part-time from home, which means we will keep your furry friends company for most of the day so that they don't have the time to miss you - and you don't have to worry about the security of the house, either.
KEEPING THE HOUSE, POOL AND GARDEN IN ORDER
In our previous sits we took care of watering the plants, mowing the lawn and maintaining the pool. We also don't mind light garden work provided there is an instruction session beforehand - we want to make sure we don't mistake your favorite plant for bothersome weed!

Veronika and her family were the consummate professional housesitters. We felt so fortunate that they were able to stay at our home and care for our cat. They send frequent updates and photos of our cat Whiskers, who received more attention from them than she does when we are home! The house was impeccably clean when we returned, the cat was happy, and we were so relaxed the whole time we were away because of their consistent communication. Their little boy played so nicely with the cat, so I would recommend their family highly for any house or pet sitting opportunity. They even offered to mow the lawn! They followed the detailed recycling schedule for the bins and waste and took care of all the things. We hope that we have the option to host them again--they are the best petsitter/housesitter couple that we have ever experienced. Thank you again for your kindness with our house and cat!
