Nous avons été contents d'accueillir Lwanga et Fred chez nous. Chats, poissons et plantes trouvés en pleine forme au retour. En rentrant, un delicieux déjeuner nous attendait. Lwanga et Fred ont beaucoup d'expérience de homesitting et ont rapidement trouvé leurs marques. Nos échanges étaient faciles et agréables. Nous les recommandons.

Lwanga et Fred se sont très bien occupés de nos chats et de la maison. La communication a été facile et nous avons été en confiance. Ils ont su s'adapter aux petites contraintes. Nous les recommandons sans hésitation.

GENERAL Lwanga and Fred are very pleasant and knowledgeable of the house sitting responsibilities. During their 5 month stay they showed themselves to be reliable carers and excellent communicators. This was no easy task, as it involved caring for the many animals, the garden and the house. Below is a detailed description of what this entailed and the brilliant manner in which they acquitted themselves of all the responsibilities They stayed in contact on a regular basis, keeping us very well informed of the news from the house. THE ANIMALS There are 2 donkeys, a dog, 5 cats, and many chickens and pigeons, each requiring their specific care. It was clear that Lwanga and Fred needed very little explanation as they are very experienced sitters; in fact, they even contributed with great ideas about how to manage this most important task for us. This included attentive day-to-day maintenance, taking care of one of the cats who got injured, scheduling vaccination and deparasitation, building a feeder and a water source in the donkey section, performing repairs at the chicken coop. I could see that they were taking a true interest in caring for the animals, that this was not just an obligation to be easily dispensed of. They are knowledgeable and observant, I cannot stress that enough! THE HOUSE PLANTS As the property is in the South of Spain, the summer is particularly difficult for the house plants: all days are hot, the Sun burns, there is no rainfall; it is the time when we most lose plants during the year, but NOT this time: the outstanding care provided by Lwanga and Fred insured that the plants not only survived the summer, but also thrived. THE GARDEN This is a 5Ha land mostly planted with olive trees, but also fig trees, citrus trees, avocado. The care mostly involves providing the proper irrigation and maintenance of the system. Once again, they handled the task brilliantly THE HOUSE AND THE CAR The house and the car were maintained sparklingly clean. The problems were properly detected and immediately addressed. A special mention to Fred’s extraordinary organizational skills, he organized the many tools and materials so well that I will never have to search for any of them. THE TRANSFER TO THE NEXT HOUSE SITTERS Lwanga and Fred prepared detailed instructions and gave a full tour of the property to the incoming house sitters who were delighted with the interaction.
