I live together with my cat Pip in Amsterdam. I grew up in a small village with several pets (cats, dogs, rabbits and horses). At the moment I work as a consultant Urban Planner and after work I love to go rowing with my friends on the Amstel River. During the weekend I like to go for nice and long walks along the river, beach or woods, go to a museum or just get lost in the city and try some bars/restaurants.
Besides that, traveling is one of my hobbies too, going out of my comfortzone to learn and get inspired. I have been house sitting for 7 years now and I met so many wonderful people and visited beautiful places!
Last but not least: I like to keep things clean and tidy and I am quite organised.

It was such a pleasure having Stefanie as our house sit for our trip to the USA. She was very communicative, and always had a great report with videos and pics of our fur-babies! The house was also spotless and everything exactly how we had left it! Having food and dinner ready for us when we arrived after a long travel flight was also awesome! Highly recommend Stefanie and she becomes like another daughter very easily! She is welcome back anytime! We never had to worry about our house or our dogs...and I do believe they missed her when she left!

It was such an easy and smooth process having Stefanie as our house sitter for more than a month. She arrived a couple of days before we left to get to know the house, the employees, all the animals on the farm and the area and spend some time understanding how things worked. To receive a pic from “home” from time to time was very much appreciated and when we arrived back from our holiday, we found our house and everything on the farm in perfect condition – she took care of everything very well. Stefanie is a friendly, chatty and organized person and we are happy to have found such a reliable and trustworthy house sitter. We can warmly recommend her and would be more than happy to welcome her back anytime to look after our home and all the animals. Asante sana Stefanie, Karibu tena !

Stefanie has been great ! We couldn't meet before I left but we did a video call and she understood directly what needed to be done in the house and with my cats. During my trip she sent me some pictures of them and I really appreciate it. When I came back she was still at my place and we spend a nice evening together! The house was spotless and my cats was happy ! I definitely recommend Stefanie and I won't hesitate to have her again at my place to take care of my cats.
