I am a computational scientist working remotely, exploring next steps as a digital nomad and looking for housesitting opportunities. While staying, I would love to take care of animals, do gardening work, and anything else needed for maintenance. I'm reliable, well-organized, and adept at navigating new environments and changing circumstances, which are skills I gained through seventeen months of housesitting, living and studying in San Francisco, Seoul, Hyderabad, Berlin, Budapest, and London as a member of an international class during the four years of my undergraduate degree, as well as during a five-month period of teaching primary school students in Nepal.

Hanna hat 8 Wochen unser Haus und den Kater gehütet, und sie war die perfekte Person dafür: absolut zuverlässig, sehr bemüht, alle Aufgaben gut zu erfüllen; sie ist ausgesprochen angenehm im Umgang, äußerst freundlich und wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn sie noch einmal zu uns kommen würde.

Hanna was simply perfect. She managed to gain the trust of our (very) shy cat rapidly, and sent us news (and pictures) every single day without fail (as we warmly requested before leaving). She also took care of the apartment in complete autonomy: she never required our (remote) assistance, and we found our home exactly as we left it (possibly even cleaner). Apart from being extremely reliable, Hanna is also a very warm and likeable person. She established an affectionate relationship with our cat (not an easy task), and even made sure we would find fruits and vegetables upon our return. Cherry on top: she cooked for us when we got back 🙂 We cannot recommend her enough, and we hope (cat included) she will be available again in the future!
