Hello!
I’m Mackayla, a 29 Australian, Mental Health worker.
In 2026 I’ll be living and working in France and would love to pet sit my way around while I continue to study my specialisation embodiment coaching for women.
I love art! Painting and sculpture. I love nature and when it’s a bit warmer will always be camping or swimming.
Additionally, I’m kind, calm and caring I’m a diligent and loving pet sitter, your pet and home will be in the best of hands with me.
I've been petsitting (professional and house exchange) on and off for years. I've done short term (a few days) and long term (a few months) petsits, here in Australia but also through travels, for friends and for strangers. As well as some paid dog walking, and dog boarding through other sites.
Familiar Animals:
My petsitting experience has mostly been with cats and dogs. However, I grew up in a pet filled home - we're talking cats, dogs, rats, mice, birds, horses, chickens and fish! I've also volunteered on farms looking after calves, horses and sheep. So I am very confident with all animals.
Duties:
Can follow specific eating, medication, exercise and attention schedules. I drive, so if necessary I can transport your pet.
And whether it sounds silly or not, I think I'm very aware of animal emotions and needs as well as techniques for petting/comforting, which allows me to win their trust and help them feel calm - even when their missing their parents!

We had an unfortunate change of plans at the last minute due to a death in the family. Mackayla was so supportive and flexible and I couldn't be more grateful. She is a great person- kind, attentive and fully responsible. I highly recommend Mackayla and wish her the very best in her future.

Nous avons confié notre chien Ruby à Mackayla et ne pouvons que la recommander chaleureusement. C’est une personne très gentille, agréable et toujours avenante. Elle se montre sensible, attentionnée et fait preuve d’une grande bienveillance, notamment envers les animaux qu’elle adore. Ruby a immédiatement été à l’aise avec elle et a beaucoup apprécié sa présence. Pendant toute la garde, nous avons reçu des nouvelles régulières, avec photos et petits messages, notamment lors de leurs promenades au bord du lac. Sa communication rassurante nous a permis de partir l’esprit totalement serein. Mackayla est sérieuse, impliquée et vraiment dévouée. Nous recommandons sans hésitation ses services à toute personne recherchant une garde fiable, respectueuse et affectueuse pour leur compagnon à quatre pattes.
