My husband and I and our little dog were in heaven at Veronique's super cozy and tasteful home. Communication was very easy at all times. We could not arrive in time to meet Veronique but her very nice friend Chantal met us and prepared a lovely meal. It was winter when we arrived but the house is warm and welcoming. We left right when spring 🌼 🌱 started and the blossoms and flowers were all blooming ! We had some snow ❄️ which just made it so pretty but it was light and the roads were cleared immediately. Our stay was about 40 days but we never had a dull moment. Ixo the dog is a gentle soul..., we really fell in love with him and the cats are the cutest, happiest and friendly cats you will ever meet. Our small dog was in great company at all times and the garden is a haven of peace and privacy. The beds, the towels the linens are all top notch. The house has every modern convenience. If you like cooking you will find every single spice in the kitchen! Veronique is a painter and her home has beautiful personal artwork. There are so many books to look at and a great music collection. We had tons of fire wood and the evenings by the fire will remain in my memory. There are lots of towns and places of interest within a few minutes and be sure to visit the Re-source store close by which is like Aladdin's den! You will be spoiled for food and restaurants and pubs too. The little Hamlet is full of kind people who make an effort to talk with you and indeed we were given fresh eggs and pate! We already miss the kitties and Ixo but hope to return. We would come back and highly suggest Veroniques home and adorable pets. The hospitality shown us was a pure joy ! Oh... We had so many cheeses given as a welcome gift! We suggest trying the local cheeses as this is cheese country and there is even a route de fromage there. We also highly suggest a visit to Chaise Dieu and the paper Mill... I could go on lol. Many many thanks for this most enjoyable experience! We have gained a friend!

On était tellement bien chez Véro et Ixo ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin . L'accueil généreux et gourmand, la balade d'après déjeuner, tous ces moments partagés avant de nous retrouver seuls avec cet amour de chien, si facile à garder et tellement affectueux. On est encore sur un nuage depuis, c'était que du bonheur merci

Un grand merci à Véro, pour son accueil chaleureux autour d'une truffade délicieuse en Auvergne . Idéal pour passer du temps ensemble à comprendre le fonctionnement des loulous et de la maison. Les deux chiens ont été affectueux et attachants : Ixo pépére mascotte du quartier et Pinto calins à rassurer et à prendre avec nous en rando pour se défouler. Il y a de nombreux livres de randos à disposition pour découvrir cette belle région. On s'est senti très bien dans la maison au coin du feu de bois. Nous avons eu droit aux fromages et confitures locaux, et joli bougie de cire d'abeille , tout ce qu'on aime, du naturel. Nous recommandons vivement Véro qui est douce et chaleureuse. Très joli hameau non loin d'Ambert et de St.Amant Roche Savine. Une voiture est indispensable pour les courses et le marché hebdomadaire. Très bon accueil de Véronique et de ses deux chiens Ixo et Pinto. Les chemins offrent de jolies balades à proximité de la maison, la nature est très belle. La maison est agréable et le jardin et ses grands arbres est propice au repos ou au jardinage si l'envie s'en fait sentir. Les chiens sont affectueux et obéissants. Ixo marche à son rythme, c'est-à-dire lentement mais Pinto qui a besoin de courir et de se dépenser est très patient. Quant aux chats, je n'ai vu que Zao, petite boule de poils tigrés très câlin et pas agressif du tout.
