Justine m'a très bien accueillie et a toujours veillé à ce que mon séjour se passe bien. La maison est atypique et magnifique, dans un écrin de verdure. J'ai pu me balader, explorer Vassivière et profiter du calme avec plaisir. Enfin, Napo, Marcus et Hercules sont des amours, c'était un plaisir de passer du temps en leur compagnie. Bref, c'était un très bon séjour !

My experience with Justine went beyond expectations. First of all, Nedde is an absolutely majestic place. It truly felt like a time transport to be in such an unspoilt natural paradise. Her property was dreamlike with its sunsets and sunrises and views of the forests. Nedde and its surrounding villages were unbelievably charming and peaceful. It is clear that the local residents are proud of and deeply care for the land, which was inspiring to see. My hikes (which were almost daily -- I became obsessed) were breathtaking and rejuvenating. If that weren't enough, Justine's home is a classic, light-filled mini chateau that was as easy to live in as it was cozy. Napoleon and Hercules, the cats, were my absolutely perfect companions for this month-long retreat. They were total gentlemen, hilarious, and insanely adorable - I won't soon forget them. Justine is warm, organized, attentive, gracious and her hospitality and generosity enhanced my experience so much. This was taken up a notch by her adorable and kind family who helped me and displayed the quintessential French hospitality I have come to know in my travels. I highly recommend Justine and Nedde to housesitters without hesitation. Thank you, Justine, not just for an amazing housesit, but for one of my most unforgettable travel experiences. All the best to you! (By the way, city folk without a car -- you can totally take on the French countryside with Justine and her family on your side -- you won't regret it!)
