Due to circumstances, my hostess and host left on their trip later than planned, so we had a few days together before they departed. Despite everything, it was very practical and pleasant, with shared conversations in a mix of French and Flemish/Dutch 😉 and shared meals. Maddox is a very affectionate and friendly friend. He follows you all day and everywhere (!), which means he regularly gets in the way 😉 but is still very sweet. He can easily handle long walks. And he knows the way. It is a pity that he has to be on a leash (otherwise he runs away, but also because it is not allowed by French law...); after all, there is so much space... and varied flora and fauna. It is really a bit away from the hustle and bustle in the countryside, but with a car, there is plenty to do in the immediate and wider area. The house is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and cameras. I was there during a heatwave (June) with temperatures between 30 and 40+ degrees, but the house remained reasonably cool, provided, of course, that you keep the windows and doors closed during the day. The living room has air conditioning. Fortunately, the garden with enormous trees offered cooling (for people and car), as did the regular breeze. I did, however, set up a temporary makeshift outdoor shower 😉 and, due to the extremely hot weather, I do have a tip for an ideal spot on the Charente, a 17-minute drive away: "Aire De Detente Le REJALLANT" near Ruffec. I had a great time there in peace and freedom, and even "got to know" a number of residents of Cornac. Have fun with Anne & Thibault, and thanks to the both of them.

De ce séjour, la propriétaire Anne et son compagnon ont réservés un très bon accueil, puis Maddox leur petit chien, apporte une sympathie des plus affectueuse. La maison est agréable, et l'environnement très calme. Pour conclure, je recommande à ceux voulant le repos, et la quiétude, cette endroit. André

Une belle maison avec un joli terrain, les alentours offrent de nombreuses randonnées faciles. Le paysage est paisible. De nombreuses rivières. Deux piscines à moins de 10 km environ avec aqua gym, j'ai testé avec bonheur. Maddox est doté d'un excellent caractère, très intelligent qui demande de l'affection, facile à garder. 10 km par jour ne lui font pas peur. Chauffage au bois. Excellente literie, comme batterie de cuisine parfaite. Anne et Thibaud donnent des conseils et sont très agréables. Il est nécessaire d'être véhiculé.
